The game hates me...

I solo queue for Siege PVP since the day it was released and had to pray hard I get into a good team to get my banners.

Many times when I'm on a winning team and so close to victory...

1) The world around me froze and the dreaded "Server not responding" flashed across my screen, and I'm "convicted without trial" and punished with having no banners.

2) The game crashed and I'm prompted to provide inputs to Cryptic on the circumstances surrounding the crash.

I've lost countless banners this way, not to mention precious time queuing for Siege and praying hard that I get into the better side.

Sigh... End of rant.

I've asked a couple friends but none suffered the same fate as me. Anyone encountered the same and came up with a solution? This is extremely frustrating and disappointing for me.

If it's your end. Try plugging a direct cable into your modem instead of using wireless, if you are even using wireless.
Check what speed you're connected at using one of those free online speed testers. If all seems fine on your end.

It could still be your connection, through the net getting hiccups somewhere (a slowdown at a hop on the routing table). If it is this, you can only contact your ISP and hope something changes or get a diff ISP, which sometimes they go through the same hops; so that may do nothing.

If its Cryptic/PW, if its cause of the ddos'ers, you can't do anything. Nearly every MMO RPG no matter the payment model, anything related to the game entirely; they get dos'd once in awhile due to kids/adults with too much time on their hands. It could also just be be bad netcode or general server lag. That happens in this game too.

In TLDR it could be alot of things, if no one else you know is experiencing it, and it isnt related to the DDoS attack. It makes me think ether something on your end or somewhere in the route table you're seeing a slowdown.

    Thanks @rollingonit for your inputs.

The game crashed again a moment ago... and the crash/SNR somehow only happens when I'm on the winning side.

Could be something similar to what was happening to me; on some instances I would lag hard (600-3000 ping -> SNR) while on other map instances, I'm perfectly fine. I later isolated that to a case where my ISP has some weird connection problems when I'm in the same instance with certain players... don't look at me I have no idea. My ISP sucks.

I had the same issue, just before the end of my only SHPvP match. Which incidentally I was on the winning side of... as well. I had a 30 sec SNR and afterwards ended up falling through the map. This all took place in the last minute to 90 seconds of the match.

I think strongholds is exstreamly laggy to begin with like icewinddale was to start with at some point they may fix it if enough complain or stop doing stronghold pvp because of the issue.
