any1 else having problems logging in ? it ties to update launcher gets to like 20 attempts and comes up with connection error..logged on earlier this morning no problems is it just me ?

    yes it is logically the network "work" they did. or some other dos on the patch server. Either way - these guys do seem to create a lot of their problems for themselves.

    For me this seems to be Foundry related. I have been working on a Foundry all day (no problem) and now I am at a point where I am accessing "detail" items in the foundry I haven't touched yet today. As soon as I tried to drag an "anvil" into the map I was making it locked up and started to try patching (presumably the asset collection that contains the anvil). Just spinning at "Patching 30 files, 0 bytes since.

    Someone next to me (on the same connection had the same thing happen while he was dragging a room into his map to place. Then when he canceled out of the game and tried to reload - it just kept trying to do the Patch Server update retries until it faults out to the error saying it can't reach the patch server. Now he can't login at all since it just does that. He is off to playing GW2 ... may join him.

    It appears to be network-wide. SCA is down as well (DNS not found).

    My cryptic launcher autoupdate states "Trying to update the launcher. Please be patient. Tried connectiong HAMSTER times." Thereafter, a pop up window states "Connection problem - Unable to establish connection to Patch Server. xxxxxx"

    Can somebody help, please? Thanks in advance!

    Same here. Cryptic Launcher Autoupdate message: "Trying to update the launcher. Please be patient." It gave up after 16 tries.

    Up pops a Connection Problem error message: "Unable to establish connection to Patch Server. Please check your internet connection. (It's fine.) If problems persist, please contact Technical Support (which I'm doing now as this is the third try at time.)

    I'm experiencing same problem, is there a new cryptic launcher we have to download or something?

    There is no new downloads; this is an issue on their end, perhaps having to do with the network switch they said something about yesterday.

    don't know what is going on, but can't log in to NW all of a sudden. I CAN log in to other games, haven't checked other PW games.

    Addendum... Just checked. All PW supported games that I have are not responding. I'm not even getting the log in box. No connection whatsoever.
