there needs to be more use of these things you get so many of them that you can't even hand them in guilds coffers always at max I have hundreds of them clogging up bag space only time can hand them in is if your lucky to be on when new project starts and be first one there

I think if they had a way to reward the guild as a whole to add as a resource, sort of a "guild night" event, were everyone plays and the reward is something rewarded as a whole and not individual, could be offered a choice of reward rather than random drop for the group as a whole, that might help get group activity up and niche items needed filled.
Maybe a donations exchange vendor could be added, got too much of item A? Then the vendor will let you have a voucher good for X amount of item B (minus a vendor cut of the proceeds of course, say a 20% "tax").
In another MMO I used to play, there was a zone were the mob drops had a high credits value, but the items were not stack-able, but were vault-able. We always had a guild night event, were we would take the uber members and lower members in tow to the zone. The lower members got XP and group play experience and extra credits to help them out as they leveled. The proceeds from the guild event were split 1/2 for guild coffers and 1/2 for the players in the event. Those credits really helped our guild get ahead and help newer members get geared etc.
Maybe they could meld that sort of idea for strongholds, the "1/2" for the guild would be whatever they were missing the most of in their coffers, they get to select rewards rather than depend on random drops.
