the screen will stay on "loading"
but nothing happens .. just stays like that ,cant even click that screen off ..
so i gotte reboot lappy to try again
im sorry im i have clue how to try the things you suggest
i am clueless on tech things, that is why i asked for help
im sorry to be a pain
and this also means its likely not our pc or lappy i guess, how coincidental that would be
so idk if we need to do techie things , hope not
im sure a techsuopporter will tell us what to do soon
keep checking here
tc ! (ty for trying and letting me know)
if you click play (in arc) it brings up the window where you can press play to actually start the game
DONT do it ..but
uptop of that screen is options
click that
then there you can put in the -d3d9
and you can check the box for save mode
for me it now loaded
okay its a tiny window, and its in the left right corner of my screen ,but ill drag n make bigger
atleast im in !! and now able to select the char i wish to play
but oh well , atleast it works that way !
will be fixed ?!
it is utterly annoying .. i have to tweak just right to be able to drag window bigger - else i play i a tiny window in top right of my screen
becos each time i want to play i have to go to the launcher - click options - click save mode and then the screen is just top right and tiny (i play windowed mode- but big window )
Changing DirectX to 9 solved all of them.
The option is in the video tab of the option menu. It is accessible from the game only.
Alternatively (in case you cannot access the game), you can try the following
Open gameprefs.pref (it should be in
The line about the directX version is
PrefEntry GfxSettings.DeviceType
In my case, it is
PrefEntry GfxSettings.DeviceType Direct3D9
