We Need Clarity About How The AD Changes Will Affect The Cost of Goods/Services In Game.

I think we need some explanations about whether or not there are plans on reducing costs of boons, greater marks, the stronghold coffer, and all other things which require AD in game. Gutting players of their only means of generating AD is really a low blow, but it might not be so bad if you also plain on costing costs.

I think everyone would love to know now rather than later if this will be the case. I don't plan on wasting my time on a game that expects me to take a year or two to become best in slot. So if that is the course you are steering this game in, you should have the courtesy to inform us of such and allow us to determine if we still want to play this game or not.

This change is scheduled for next week with the new patch yet we have not heard a single word about anything since you dropped the bomb on us.

    I don't get your meaning. Do you mean before they actually address the issue? Or before they make changes to AD costs in game? Either way, I wouldn't waste my gaming time on such an uncertainty.

    You wont get an answer from anyone who knows what will come. But here is my guess. They know alot of ppl will leave and they hope so. This will kill some ad`s ingame. Now with the change, getting ad`s will be even more a pain in the butt. The ad sinks stay untouched for now (better said for some months), this will drain alot of ad`s out of the economy. This works because you will still need the gmops, dungeon keys etc from the bazar, built your sh, upgrade your compagnion, get your boons etc, we are f.... in any possible way. After some months, and i say close to the release of mod8, or with mod 8 itself they will adjust the prices of the ad sinks. Just my guess, but tbh, the game will be broken till mod8 if it comes as i said, so keep looking for an other game while the boat is going down

    Scott said he would "watch the data" and then do *something* soon. Meaning there is no plan. Changes to costs SHOULD happen at the same time, in order to keep us sane, and to show that there is a plan in motion. But that is not how Cryptic does things.

    Even if they do something by mod 8, it won't be enough to really help anyone. The grind to progress your character and just 1 at that is so massive now how in the world will you progress when you have up to 90% less AD to do it with. Some people won't suffer. Those that are already completely geared ( until the next mod makes their equipment useless ), those that have millions of stored AD ( until the next mod makes their equipment useless again ), and the botters. Everyone else gets kicked in the teeth and left in the dust.

    Just bring the whole grinding machine to a screeching halt.

    Do not spend a single AD on anything, until they have made those "improvements" they promised.
    That might get their attention, and they might start doing some work for and not against normal players.

    If players just go along with this, you can be sure, that they will move on to something else to nerf into the ground.

    sorry to newbies

    but if you are not newbie, you just stockpile all resources for next double refinement weekend and than decide upgrades or buying directly if already cheaper. and every double ref your characters make jump. so not big deal, if repricing come with underdark

    if you want changes to be made my suggestion is simple but wont ever be followed.

    Do not spend any ADs, Do not buy any zen.

    That's all the player base has to do the force them the change stuff. Just like in real life your money speaks louder then your voice ever could. After a month of no one buying zen or spending ADs they'll be forced to either fix it or shut down the game and lets face it, I doubt they really want to shut down the game.

    We could have had mod 6 fixed sooner but people just keep spending their money buying zen and as long as they're making a reasonable profit they have no reason to change what they're doing.
