Unable to connect to game (Patch Server)

I have been experiencing severe lag earlier so I decided to restart my pc... Now I am unable to connect to the game. It is definitely not my internet causing the issue because I tried opening different browsers, sites and even did a speedtest. Everything was fine. I just can't connect to the game.
Please assist.

I am having the same problem - Tracert showing VERY high dropout at patch server end

Might is not always right - the powerful sometimes forget that.

Thanks for replying. I was afraid I was the only one. I just uninstalled the game completed and reinstalled - and still the facing the issues of "unable to establish connection to patch server". Sigh.

I agree blaming the Dev's does not help, they do not control the Internet server connections, it is the technical support we should be aiming at here. It is a combination of who your service provider is, in addition to the routing that is used by them AND internal services. One of my gaming pals had an issue for 2 weeks where his service provider connection was dropping the ball (Australia to US, but problem was US side), where I had no problem. He temporarily switched to WiFi using another provider - problem gone. I am currently experiencing the same problem myself now, but I can see the problem is AFTER it hits the ARC servers - all pings fine until that point.
Sarcasm will not help us, (venting won't either, but we are the ones unable to play), so if you have a cooler head, constructive help is better :)
I am an IT technician, so when I say the problem is after a certain point, it is. I cannot say why, just point to where the pain point is (in this case after perfectworldent-4.border11.bsn.pnap.net).

It's like the Neverwinter devs are *forcing* me to quit the game along with most of my friends. :(

Yea because they love it when people can't get online. Especially people who can't be bothered to be a little bit considerate and patient when something goes wrong with a particular part of their internet connection. After all, they are the biggest money spenders.
I had no issues at all just now, so the problem might not even be at their end.
If you have nothing helpful to say, why bother to reply?
Anyway, I have edited my post. Hope you're happy now.

Noted. Thanks. Same results for me on tracert. You're right about the combination. Yea, I was a little annoyed and lost my cool because I can only play on weekends and now I can't play at all. Oh well. Time to catch up on my anime.

I have been having this problem for 2 months from the moment I started NWO. When I am assigned certain series of external IP address from my ISP it doesnt connect to the patch server at all and I get "unable to establish connection to patch server". I had even raised a ticket for this but they told me to speak to my ISP. But my ISP says its not his problem.

So I keep on restarting my connection until I get to different series of external IP that works. For example for me 117.HAMSTER.xx.x series doenst work at all. Only 59.HAMSTER.HAMSTER.x or 103.HAMSTER.HAMSTER.x connects to patch server. One more thing this problem is only with the patch server. The login and account servers works for me with any IPs.
