Ninja nerf to mob drops in Strongholds..

So, you used to get r5s for killing the regular mobs in SH, this has been changed to r4s, yet another nerf, wasnt announced, but its implemented.

Wonderful..

Do you ever get the feeling, they literally don't want us to play the game =P...

    I just checked, and I'm still getting rank 5 drops from HEs and wandering groups of enemies in the SH. I have gotten a rank 4 occasionally in the past, but I haven't seen an increase in those lately.

    Tensions are high enough right now; you don't need to spread false information.

    Its not false.. all i got was r4s this morning I NEVER got any r4s before this morning.

    If more data is collected fine. BUT its clear loot tables WERE changed again, to a lower status.

    Thats clear and not false.

    I have occasionally gotten r4's all along from the mobs in Strongholds. Mostly it is r5s but every so often it has been r4s. For me, the r4s seem to drop most often in the "drake attack" HE.

    Guys, the OP is FALSE.

    Stop responding to it as if he was right, and speculating about motivations -- because it is false.

    Are you using Fey Blessing Enchants? I haven't noticed a change...but then again I haven't really been looking.

    I'll pay more attention when I get on to whack some bad guys tonight.

    The drop tables change as you level your stronghold up it seems. When Greycloaks hit rank 5, I noticed as severe drop off in drops. I also noticed that, while at earlier levels, when we'd farm the epic HEs, at least one, if not several people would get some sort of purple drop every time. Now, though, with 10 people or more we can go 3 or 4 without ANYONE getting a purple drop.

    At a previous job, the way management would get rid of people was to make their jobs so annoying that they'd eventually quit and find another job. The parallel with what's happening in Neverwinter right now is... interesting to say the least. What surprises me even more is that there aren't stories about this in the gamer zines. You'd think the main D&D IP MMO would have some attention beyond just guzzling whatever muck is tossed at them from the marketing department.

    also, man, Ive been upset, trashed the company ect.. but Ive never knowingly trolled or lied about something. I dont appreciate your response at all.

    This morning, ALL i got was r4s from my daily influence grinding, before that I NEVER got one before as a drop, see where my confusion lay? it seemed really odd to me.

    It appeared to me that something was changed, I probably earned a couple stacks of r5s since stronghold started from just farming influence.. (the mob drops, not the he rewards)

    This morning, all I saw drop from mobs were r4s.

    I didn't say you deliberately lied, I just am tired of everyone immediately jumping to "Cryptic is trying to kill the game!" rather than check if your experience is unusual or if there is a real change. And your OP just led to people piling on the dev-bash train.

    If it is true that drops get worse as you level your SH, then that is a real problem. Start a thread in the Bug Reports forum. I know commanderander posted in the NW reddit forums that there may have been some inadvertent changes in SH HE loot tables -- so report any that seem wrong.
