Cant do common cause

Hi,
Every time I get the quest from the Harper for Common Cause it will not let me do the mini dungeon. Examples are Ancient Treasures/Mitheral Mine/ Forged Fire,etc. I get the quest and then it wont be "sparkling" for me to enter. Only way i can that part of common cause is to party up with someone who it doess work,Problem with that is yeah it completes the quest for me but I DO NOT get the chest reward( wont give it to me). Wierd! Cant figure out whats going on it used to work just fiine.

    Do you get the quest for the specific dungeon, or just common cause? There are a few NPCs next to one which gives you common cause, each of them is responsible for dungeon quest in specific zone - they do not have exclamation mark above them, though, you have to talk to them and get the quest. I cant remember which NPC is for which zone, so try to talk to all of them - the one sitting on a box next to Tyranny of Dragons merchant too.

    I get the quest from harper boward and then the person at the place doesnt have it for me..for example Rothe the other day he gaveme bottled lightning and kill dragon but not FF ,same that boward gave me and no yellow diamond at the wagon. I then party up and am able to enter it then with no chest but having completeed common cause. I have the campagn maxed. This started some time ago i figured it would be fixed and still have issue.

    It is not the person in Rothe that gives you the FF quest. Neither its Harper Boward. Its the NPC next to Harper Boward in Protectors Enclave (one of them). Also, they reset daily, with Common Cause. If you took Common Cause yesterday and reset happened - you will not be able to take mission for appropriate dungeon for next few days (until your dungeon is available again) - you have to abandon Common Cause then and take it again.

    Edit - I dont know where Common Cause leads today, but following your example - Forged in Fire.

    Try to search for common cause dungeon quest in neverwinter wiki - it should have information who gives the quest.

    The main issue with the mini-dungeon quests is that the quest giver doesn't have the exclamation point (!) icon over their head once you outlevel it.

    It is still considered a level 60 quest (at least the last time that I looked at it before mod 7). So this means that once you hit level 65 or 66 (can't remember which exactly) the quest becomes considered a "low level" quest and the quest icon no longer shows up. You need to just check the other NPC's standing around Harper Boward in PE to find the correct guy that gives the mini-dungeon quest that corresponds to the daily Common Cause quest.

    doesnt matter if i take it today it still wont be fixed and do it today. I know about the wait deal. Idont wait.

    As Wentris said, the NPC that gives the mini-dungeon quest is in PE and NOT in the target zone. You're looking in the wrong place for the questgiver.

    OK i figured out the issue. IT WAS NOT ME. The NPC that contains that extra part at PE when it is not harper boward does not light up so u must go to all 4 NPCs to find that rest of Common Cause quest. This is a Dev cause. Needs to be fixed.

    People did mention that earlier in this thread - it's been like this since the beginning of Mod 6.
