Here is a suggestion...

...for those of you not-so-smart people asking for nerfs for this or that. DO NOT EVER ASK FOR NERFS. If you think that there is a discrepancy between 2 stats, ask for the lower stats to be BUFFED, not otherwise.

There are a few inherent problems in this game: pvp and pve are not separate, class discrepancy, new items with every expansion, constant ninja changes etc. This ensures that you will never get the ideal that you dream of. Plus, gameplay > balance in role-playing games; RPGs are made for people who want to feel like heroes and not worry about minute details such as what some paranoics consider "imbalanced". If you want balanced items and immutable rules, go play chess.

    So if stat 1 lets you solo a 25 man raid due to inherently broken mechanics and stat 2 doesn't, because its sensible, then we should buff stat 2 till its equal to stat 1?

    Yes. Or, in the very least, leave things as they are.

    From my experience in the game, I'd have to agree. I've got a running list of things I see as jaw droppingly unbalanced, but I keep it quiet. Because the devs will never nerf things the way you would expect or want.

    It makes a point though, that some times, the re-balancing of a skill is necessary. Need I mention the start of mod 5, shadow of demise to show that hyperbolic stuff like that does sometimes come into existence, or the HR loops at the start of mod 6? The point is, sometimes nerfs are called for and if we were to have buffed everything to that level, you would have seen solo ecc during mod 6.

    Not that they aren't doing their best to continue on that pattern.
