I saw someone post that High Prophet was still the BiS for DPS clerics in Mod 6. Looking at the armor calculator wouldn't you get stomped not using the new armor that gives all the extra hit points?

Depends on your group.. I would always wear it in SH dragonflight now though.. after running them after a bit.
If you have a super strong pally that is pretty much single handle everything anyways, might as well switch over.. but Ive also had to drag everyone through with my immunity frames on groups that sat in reds and such, then you need to be flexible and switch back and forth..
Sadly, our primary roll of debuffer took a hit when they forced the new armours on the DC, however, as you know it was bound to happen, power creep is coming back in, new boons will make it even easier to run things and viola.. High Prophet is reborn.. May the gods of divinity smile down upon us.
(ps.. HV armour, your next to slot
royal guard.. are you coming back?
Aow is probably dead and I dont know about AD for my SW .. But I kept them all , just in case.
I was going to go with Elemental Elven Assault gear and stock up on Power, Crit and LS (after arp was maxed) Would be sad if that is not as good for DPS than High Prophet.

.. its not just dps, its also functionality of group... who cares about personal #s.. when you stack this debuff, with DG, BTS and trans plague or terror.. bam, you just increased your parties dps, by over 100%. Thats not even including if your righteous or not.
Sadly, all the new armours are just sucky at doing that.. not one of them INCREASES a primary roll of the dc, debuff/buffer. BEING more i level powerful.. DOES not do that. It only makes damage and heals or survibility higher.
Its one of my many complaints as a DC.. being more powerful.. should INCREASE your debuffing roll.. and it clearly doesnt. Where is the incentive to continue to progress.. At the start of this mod 6, healing was mandatory for a bit, now t1s (EVEN before arp) are being done with tankless and healess runs, only t2s really need a healer per se and some really powerful groups dont even need one. So its back to buff/debuff. I want updated armour from the OLD t1s that give similiar #s. =P

Just for fun...and OHHH how much fun it is, I reslotted my HV for Stongholds HE runs, and surprisingly the mobs melted faster than my paltry 35K HP. My 20% LS came in handy lol. I Run Rene/Spell Twisting, but think that for everyday grinding, HV would work marvelous with Icy Veins. You loose a little arp and crit as well as the HP.
High Prophet was never dead, it just took some adjusting to play with 35k HP (especially in t2s). Group you are in matters, that much is true, but I would say the most important is cc, not tank (good tank makes healer's life a lot easier though). I used to go in any t2s with: Please cc adds, if they sneeze at me, I will die. I die, you have no heals and no buffs! In t1 dungeons you only really need to dodge well.
Any type of DC can use it and be effective with it (mine is faithful DO), but healer with low arp might have easier time in dungeons since they will rarely have agro on anything. Couple HP debuff with other buffs that any DC can use (Bts, glow, HG, Army etc) and groups are going to love you. And confusing random people (Omg, why I hit so hard suddenly?!) is hilarious sometimes.
High Vizier on CW is a bit more tricky because you are extremly squishy and still need to get fairly close (closer than a DC) to the fight. You are the cc after all, so you yourself need to stop the mobs from hitting you. For CW in HV I would say it's the good tank that makes a big difference (good healer is awsome too, but they are not going to save you from 1-shots when you have so little hit points).
T1s are not much of a problem in HV (unless there is no tank and you have agro all the time, then its a no-go). T2s are more tricky, especially if you have pew-pewing adds during boss fights. That said eToS and eGWD are doable while wearing HV if you are quick enough (they were even before the dr bug fix), I still need to try eCC so can't say for sure about that one (archers and the amount of fire on the floor might make it hard though). My CW is an SS Thaum with Icy Veins and Spell Twisting, not Rene, so she can chain cc rather fast. No idea how Rene would do.
SO the conundrum here is a DPS cleric WILL get agro they will get hit. SO maybe High Prophet is not the way to go....
I said healer might have easier time, not that they never get hit. If cc is poor or tank is totally clueless any DC will have problems. Learning the dungeons while wearing one of the new sets (with boosted hit points) and then switching to back to HP might be good (I think you are an Xbox player? if I'm confusing something, sorry). Either way save it and try yourself. Its still the best set DC ever had and it provides a nice chellenge to run dungeons while using it. And of course amazing group utility.

Also running with TRs can up your agro. One TR is okay but when running with multiple and they stealth... well that agro goes somewhere. I would put HP as highly situational, I keep mine but seldom bring it out. However, I am a righteous DC and mobs love me
