equip gwf module 7?

xxskelxxskel Member Posts: 3 Arc User
Hello people, im a gwf that is soon going to hit level 70 (im atm 67). I stopped playing NW when there still was module 4 and I had a nice pvp/pve equipment. Of course it now sucks and I have to change it as soon as I hit level 70. Im going to start with dread ring equip before I get a better one. The question comes now: in this module the best pve set for me is the "elven ward set" and the best for pvp is the "profound". The question is: do I have to wait and buy module 7 pve/pvp set or I can start with one of this set since the new one will not be that good? (somebody said so). I dont want to waste glory and seals.. I ask the same thing for my primary/secondary weapon artifact (do I have to waste my refining point on this or there will be a better one?). Sorry for my bad english, I wish somebody can help me, im a noob. Thanks all! >_<

it is going ot be a while before anyone's guild will be high enough to get the new main/off weapons as for the elven vs the Dragonflight yes the dragonflight will be better but wont be accesable till guild rank 3 and bought with diferent seals so get the elven when you can no worries

Are you sure, dragonflight is better? Only the shoes seems okay for me, because I would lose lots of crits comparing to the elven set. For the set bonus it doesn't worth..

You need guild rank 8 and then make market place rank 4 before you can see Dragonflight gear.

Well, I dont really like the Dragonflight set for any of my charakters. Escpesially for GWF. I would loose a lot of Crit, so until I have R12 Azures, it's not really worth it. For 2000hp and 500 power I wont fight so much Dragon.

As for Main/Off, you can refine the current one, and then break it into the Stronghold set in the next Double Refine, you dont loose too much RP. There's a DR every 3 months or so. Or until you can refine your Main hand to at least epic (purple), you are better off with a Ensorcelled Mulhorand greatsword.

Don't see how anyone's losing crit here. Dragonflight is a slight upgrade to Elven if you're choosing the right pieces. I'll update my guide soon enough with the choices, armpen will be sliiiightly overcap as a result but nothing too major (1% most likely.)

Hmm not sure if you looked into the dragonflight gear then. Helmet and arm loses a lot of critical. Only chest and feet are a sight improvement, feet having the most improvement as mentioned in previous post.

There is not much point in getting the dragonflight gear other than for collection.

Dragonflight is for PvE, in PVE crit is a quasi optimal stat. I think it is clear that dragonflight will not be an optimal choice to max your crit. The reason is simple, because you do not have to choose every piece from a set. And it seems that every set have a relative good piece for crit. According to my readings, I will take elven raid for chest and elven assault for arms, Dragonflight for feet, elemental alliance assault for helm. It is quasi optimal foe me. No big changes for enchants and save time for farming dragon fangs which is not so easy for many guilds.

I only use pieces with power - crit - defense (except for boots, but that will be covered with dragonflight boots) so I dont always use elven, for helm I use assault helm from t2 dungeons. So I would lose power. Crit arp def or crit recovery def set pieces are just a waste.

I looked the DF gear fine, I don't lose any crit, on the contrary - I gain around 200 overall if I'm wearing full DF gear. I'm not wearing the assault helmet for the crit though, if you are then you're losing crit obviously, but I went full elven. Other option is to leave out one elven piece and go 3 DF to maintain some more crit, but unless you're wearing the assault helmet you're losing absolutely NO crit whatsoever wearing full DF, check again. Plan is - Assault DF chest, raid helmet, raid feet, elven ward gloves.

Only the shoes are needed, others dont worth the effort (losing crits, or power).

I am missing something. Comparing with Elven set, only the arm will get less crit. The heads of Elven do not have crit.
You should have more crit taking Dragonflight Raid feet and head + Dragonflight Assault chest.

Elemental Assault helmet is the best for crit.. Armor and gloves give you more power or crit than dragonflight..
