Reset all my Vgilance tasks?!?!?!

    Even though I was hoping otherwise, it was expected tbh.

    Imagine my surprise when I realized in some cases instead of having to do 16 vig tasks im going to have to do 20 or more :(

    Stop whining. All tasks has been given XP increased across the board and many vigilance tasks had their XP for completion doubled even. Not to mention that finishing the vigilance main quest itself has been given a substantial XP boost and monsters are way easier to kill. I'm amazed that you in spite of these changes manage to whine and make this post rather then rejoicing over this level of positive change. Shame on you!

    First off, Im back because of these changes, second; that wasnt a whine... it was a scream of pain when I realized id ultimately be doing many of these quests 20+ times all said and done.

    Ive given kudos for fixing the problem they made in the first place... shame on you for not feeling my pain ;)

    So your quest was reset just like everyone else's, including mine (11/16). You're right though I do not feel your "pain". Because well. There's really no pain to be felt here with kills being as fast as they are now and with all the xp increases for tasks/quests completed. Those 8 quests was done so fast compared to before that I could hardly believe it. In your defense though, I was doing the vigilance bs right before the patch hit so I can literally feel the changes and they're amazing.

    Now with that said. Welcome back to nw!

    The game is 100% improved, and it was only one set of vigil quests that was dropped to zero for me in reclamation rock, which I already completed <
    VAST IMPROVMENT!!!! My other vigil quests are good, the ones that I was below 8 currently.

    Thank you Neverwinter Dev team and Mr. Schioff for this huge patch today! Neverwinter is fun again!

    I can appreciate the disappointment about the Vigilant Tasks being reset ... we knew it was coming, and it was good that it wasn't going to take so many quests to complete them. However, what (I don't think) we were expecting is that all of our completed Vigilant Tasks would be wiped in the process. I also had 11/16, and as such, I thought perhaps they would have at least given me 8 of that 11 as credit so I could go to the next level, but they didn't, I was back at zero.

    However, that said, I DID finally notice that the experience had almost doubled for the quests, so that was a nice discovery, but not before I got the big red message in the chat box that Vigilant Tasks were reset and sorry for any inconvenience. At first, I only looked on my Quest Log to see if I at least got credit for 8 of the 11, but no. I actually didn't do any further quests at that point, and only discovered the increased experience later.

    It would have been less frustrating I think had the "reset Vigilant Tasks vs. Increased Experience" details been conveyed in the original patch notes of what they were going to do ... unless I missed that part. Also, I wonder if that experience level is permanent, or just until we finish the tasks again. Also wonder if the experience at the next level will be higher as well.

    At any rate, I'm glad for the continued work, but think the communication could be a bit better.

    As @magenubbie pointed out, there can not be 2 versions of the same quest, which is why they had to reset it for everyone. As this has been addressed, I feel that this matter, and this thread, should now be closed.
