DX issues

in Peer to Peer Tech Forum
when i launch the game i keep gettin some stupid popup saying im missing some dx file. i had this ages ago and quit because i could get zero help from anyone.

Can someone please help me solve this..i want to return but the game just keeps fighting me with that one dumb error.

    Go to options and Then Force verify! This may help you out!^PP

    good lord...for reasons inexplicable my installing it on my alternate drive worked this time..the games playing(so far) we will see if it holds up.
