I recieved this ring from the No sympathy encounter, it says it's part of the set no sympathy 1/1 but the other attributes need 2 of the set... is this a bug, which item do i need to achieve the 2 set bonus of this?

This is a cursed ring which will reduce one of your stats not increase it, so use with care >:)

Oops, sorry it is the set of two that reduces your stats not just the single ring. Still worth taking note though

Im actually after the ring set and the boots, the boots are awesome. The rings I love the idea of being able to specialize in a useful stat at the expense of it's 'opposite'. gaining 1776 crit, losing 100 defense, im happy to drop my dragon and personalized rings for those on my gwf, the same with the boots, a big direct power gain when at high health, and losing that power for a big lifesteal gain when under half health is another i want to try out.

You lose 1000 not 100 defense. What they need to do is add more stats options for double slotted rings.
