Multiple Hotbar builds

We've seen it in STO, we've seen it in Champions Online...why not here? The ability to swiftly switch between powers and builds is suddenly much more important in Strongholds, when running from one HE to the next...my CW has a close-range, AoE build for mass mobs, and a long-range, single target build for boss fights. Having to stop and drag/drop them out one by one is tedious and time consuming.

Could we please get a button to switch out between builds?

    At this point i dont expect them to implement anything which convenience, or QoL feature and not related somehow to VIP program.

    I had just made a post about asking if something like this existed just before I read this post. this is something that is sorely needed I think every class has powers that are good in some fights and bad in others even if they only gave us two different specs it would help every other game I have ever played has something like this

    Yeah and while you're at it, please enable us to have a dual spec (dungeons/group play - tank, solo play - DPS).

    This is something that has been asked for since beta.

    Now its just even more glaringly needed.

    The funny thing is, they could probably make decent zen market sales offering something like this, and they still won't do it. I could list 20 similar enhancements that are purely QOL, that people would buy....they won't do it.

    I've never seen a company so unwilling to make money ;)

    And I think it should be a game feature, not something we should pay for - there's enough things that can be bought in ZEN shop, not that they're worth half the price.
    Having a dual spec or more skills on the hot bar would be a great way to make the game better.

    Those are 2 VERY different things you are mentioning. Having the ability to swap between powers is a quality of life improvement that causes little to now imbalance int he game (if properly implemented with a cooldown).

    Having more skills on the hotbar is a balance issue and possibly game breaking if not done right. The game is balanced around having X number of skills available at any given time. You mess with that, you mess with everything. This would HAVE to be for everyone....you put this as a zen item and people will riot.

    Well...you're probably right on this one. Sometimes you just want to have this ONE skill available that you KNOW will turn the tides of battle...and it would cause some imbalance for sure - since there are severe balance issues already, let's not go further !

    But still, dual spec is not that harmful or is it? :)

    scroll down a bit til u see the /commands
    spell switchouts were always doable fast that way between dungeon fights while on autorun
    or when in a group use /follow on a teammember and let them navigate around trouble
    not rly what ppl are asking for but maybe it helps a bit

    and an ability to change gear too (switch between pve and pvp armor) like WOW

    This would be useful for DCs who have to switch between healing powers and "damage" powers.

    The Devs have commented on this before. It's definitely something they would like to do, but given how limited their bandwidth is, it's going to take time to implement.

    Just because STO and CO have it doesn't mean it's easy to implement in Nevewinter. But regardless, this is a feature I'd definitely keep top of mind with the Devs for when they do have more room on their schedule to add in additional Quality of Life features.
