Yeah, this made me think about the switch to storm spell. In my testing though, chilling presence slotted is still better. 36% dmg boost all of the time 72% when frozen(@ 6 stacks). I'm sitting at 52.2% crit unbuffed with 8100 power 24% arp.

The storm spell one is quite good (and causes storm spell to proc on non crit hits too I believe...). Thinking about this...

Bonus damage from spell storm normally occurs at 30% of crits. Assuming 50% crit (should be around there if using chilling presence) this would work out to ~15% chance of a spell storm hit. 5% extra brings that up to 20% chance of a spell storm hit! This seems really good to me.

I did try the bonus damage from chilling presence but it didn't feel as strong. I run chilling presence/chilling advantage + spell storm.

Eye of the storm is bugged. You just have to slot it to receive the 5% crit severity.

Still, i would rather go with the chilling presence.

Dread buddy lol. Don't be so harsh. I agree ATM ss renegade is pretty much the only choice if u want to maximize your ability to dps and be useful to groups. But other cw builds help add variety and a change of pace. Myself I can't see shying away from SS/R its just too fun. But nothing wrong with wanting to be different, alot of cool builds come from it. From my experience w. 6.7k pwer arP capd and 50% sheet crit chilling presence is just a slightly bigger damage boost. I would think that higher crit would mean more second SS procs tho.
