Can't Run Neverwinter Preview Server

I have been trying to run Neverwinter Preview Server on my windows 7 computer. Everytime I try to launch it, the first thing I see is the normal black screen and cryptic logo with the loading bar underneath, but then the whole screen goes black and nothing at all but the mouse curser loading symbol is visible. It never does anything else and the moment I click the screen, the screen turns white and then I get a message saying that game client has stopped responding. then I am presented with 3 options: close program, have windows search for solution to problem then close the program, and wait to respond. I have tried getting windows to check for solution to problem but it just shuts down the program and nothing happens. I can't run the preview server at all right now.

    I have the same exact problem. Even went through the trouble of uninstalling everything. Same result. I'm surprised more people have not reported this problem.

    My machine however runs on windows 8, now windows 10. But same problem in both versions. This is fairly recent ever since they announced Strongholds.
