I am having huge fun again, me and some old friends of mine started running T1 dungeons because of all the RAD we're getting and I'm enjoying it a lot. Cryptic, if you want to do us some good, please.... leave it like this!
without at LEAST doubling the cap.. this is not even offering a carrot.. it is offering a photo copy of a carrot that you can't eat

rather that than not being able to see a carrot in your whole life. This is a nice first step imo and I would totally level up another character to 70, just so I can run T1 and feel good about it.
This is basicly what we wanted, it is a step towards rewarding actual playtime.

i think they should keep the AD rewards x2 for the dungeon/skirm/salvage even after the event.

Thank you for helping players that need to get to 70 for stronghold. The rough ad is also nice. I am stacking up on some of my toons, for those days i can't complete PVP,Skirmish and dungeons with them.
There are more than BIS players in this game RIP Real Tiamat, RIP Real Demogorgon RIP real Temple of the spider. Why remove non bis content to give to bis players ???? FORCING the majority of your player base to play 4 mod old dungeons and trial will have a bad result on player base Changes are getting so bad i would rather prefer no new changes (RIP ICE FISHING in winter fest)

Double AD would be ok if it didnt involve double AD from leadership and invoking. There are bots and players with 50+ leadership armries making over 1.2kk AD per day. It will have significant impact on the economy
I'm on one of my toons at 500k+ rough ADs due to hoarding old t2 sets etc and salvaging them now.
Still refining only 24k per day, no change at all for me.
Same here. This gives me a reason to do storage cleaning from inventory, bank, mail box, companions to gather those old stuff and salvage them. I happen to have a level 4 GF who I planned to build but plan changed because of the exhaustion of mod 6. He has no AD production ability, can't do invocation or profession, only 1 original bag. I have no plan to make him a farmer. Now, he has almost half a million raw AD. That will take him probably a month to refine. All together, I get 675K raw AD and claim back a lot of storage space.

But I'd rather they make the event more often than making it permanent. Making the event permanent will create inflation in the economy as everyone suddenly get access to more ADs and price of items slowly adjust to the new "equilibrium" and then we're back in the same spot. Akin to how printing more money will not help save a flailing economy...
I totally support increasing the ADs from salvaging, skirmish rewards, etc, to reward players for playing the game.

According to NWO:Uncensored blog, the top 50 bots collect about 1 billion ad each week.
If we assume that Neverwinter has 5000 active players and refine 24000 AD every day, we're still only at 840 million. Now I know that many people have multiple characters, but how many people hit the 24k daily refine without the double AD event on their mains alone?

The 1 billion ADs eventually still flows back into the economy.
Say the event is made permanent, it'll have a temporary effect of allowing players to suddenly afford things they previously couldn't but the effect will be shortlived.
The net impact is just more ADs circulating in the economy (be it bot generated or player generated), making the value of AD fall.

Bot does not make more than 2 character per account. They make many accounts.
Bot does not get their major AD from leadership. It is only 24K daily. They get the AD from other type of farming that give AD instead of rAD. Double rAD production per day does not help bot as much as regular player who cannot fill the 24K quota.
