Skill node limit

Does anyone know if there is a skill node looting limit?
Is it a limit per character?
Per zone?
It seems shady that during the professions event, I get to where I have nothing from junk coming from the nodes after I loot a few.

    there is a limited number of nodes one toon can loot in a certain time period, but I don't know exactly what that limit is. If you change zones, you're still at the limit and continue to get junk.

    You CAN switch toons and not get the 2cp stuff.

    I believe this is a bot deterrent. I don't know what the limit is, but I do know there is one.

    Could someone elaborate a little? I am new to the game and I'm not understanding to topic here.

    From my understanding, lets say theres 5 chest on a map

    You loot all five on 1 toon, you get best rolls (chance at good loot) change instance or wait for respawn, your chances get severly reduced.

    So if your farming 1 zone during professions, you wanna zone in all characters and rotate down your toons after 1 looting of each node

    my two favorite places to farm skill nodes during the Professions half hour are Neverdeath Graveyard and Vellos. Both have areas with lots of nodes packed close together. I can loot each area fully, change instances and loot most of the nodes in each area again before I start getting 50' of Rope type things instead of profession items. 50' of Rope sells to a vendor for 2cp and has no other use.

    There are 8 nodes in Neverdeath that I hit, so I'd peg the limit before the anti-botting feature kicks in to be about 15.

    If I hit the node limit, and move my toon from Neverdeath to Vellos, I continue to get the 50' of Rope type items for a while, so its not how many zones you're farming, its how many nodes you loot.

    Or, try to go slower so that you don't hit the limit so fast. I also kill mobs along the way to try and farm using Dragon Hoard Enchantments at the Same Time.

    I ran last night. Hit 20 nodes, ran Epic Shores, hit 10 nodes, ran Epic Shores again, 10 more nodes, Epic shores and then 10 nodes... 50 nodes +/- in about 35-40 minutes.

    How was the loot after a while, did you start getting all commons?

    After running shores, I did not seem to grey out to 2cp junk. I am still trying to figure it out. I need to download a stop watch app and try and get a more accurate time on the reset.
