Good Stats to Beat Tiamat.....not Gearscore

Let's not get into the gearscore shouting match, but what other minimum attributes should folks have to be successful? Like minimum armor penetration or specific abilities to debuff the dragon heads.

I have not had success yet, sadly because most people give up immediately if the heads don't go down fast enough.

I think everyone can benefit from good advice, not the ridicule that I am so sick of reading constantly...makes you want to quit the game sometimes.
Huh....I thought Ballsdeep was a location in Lord of the Rings.

I recommend going to the threads specific to your class and looking over the recommended stats there as well as at wills, encounters, etc. Optimizing your toon in general will help you be the best that you can at your role as possible. There is also a chart that depicts the diminishing returns of each stat.

Also look at some of the Tiamat strategy threads and follow as best you can.

OK as much as i dont want to be that guy that says its about gs it kinda really is.
put a team of 25 15k players vs a team of team of 10k players i 100% guarantee you that the 15k players beat it with ease and the lower gs players fail.
at this point it has nothing to do with knowing what to do. every one knows that by now. the main reason people are failing is because of low dps.
you cant kill 5 dragons with million damage each if you cant do 5 million damage to each one in a set amount of time. its just not possible.

BUT, its not just gear score. you see its stats. but gs and stats works hand in hand.
you need high dps/power to beat it and by having high power/ap/crit also comes with that high gs since they directly affect it.

so no a team of players with 10k-12k gs dont have enough power, armor pen, e.t.c. to beat it they just dont and that shows in their stats transmitting to their gs.

i dont even know why a sub 14k person would want to run this. if elol requires 13.5 k and epic shoes requires 13.5k why does this not??

now im not one of those people that bash people for having low gs and talk stuff to people at all i actually will play with them and try to carry them and help them even in t2s i have a 19k gs.

i actually enjoy helping people. but 10-12k gs players WILL NOT have enough dps to beat it. they will not have their toons speced well enough and will not have the better armor/weapon enchantments.

you learn from mistakes in the early stage. i cant tell you how many times i respeced my character to get the 100% optimal build.

but you want to have a minimum of 24% armor pen, 6000+ power minimum know how to play and know what to doand have a weapon and armor enchant and i guarantee if everyone had all this it would be a cake walk.

so as much as it is not about gear score in theory it kinda is since damage stats directly collate to gear score number.

i cant tell you how many times i have seen 10-12k gs players in tiamat with blue and green armor pieces on no weapon enchants and like 3-4k power. thats not enough dps to get the job done sadly and the min for this dungeon should be 14k OR 6000 power or 24% armor pen min.

with all that being said is it still possible yes but i have beat it over 30 times and have done it with low and high gs players but 99% of the time when i inspect players the few times i lost i seen a ton of 10-12k players with not even t2 gear and good speced charecters.

so as much as it is NOT about gs i agree it kinda is as well cause the stats and dps needed to beat it works hand and hand with gear score.

no gear score is NOT important and this is coming from a 19k player. the stats that make your gs what it is IS important. i can raise my gs right now by almost 1000 more but it will make me do less damage so i choose not not to cause the number is not important to me, how much damage i do and how fast we clear dungeons is.

you just need the dps to do it, you cant drive 100mph id your car only goes to 80mph......catch my drift.

They should raise the GS for Tiamat just from 10.000 to 12.500 or 13.000 that would be fine.

It should be 13k like shores and lostmouth.

Since the OP asked about specific stats and wasn't asking for a debate on GS I will follow directions LOL

    In my opinion:

Main stats that every character should have without question...

Armor Pen should be at 24% (to maximize DPS)
Power is debatable but for a pure DPS class I would say 4k (without the Tiamat buff)

The remainder are more for survivability and I am not sure on a good general threshold so others please chime in

    Deflect - 2k? 3k?
Lifesteal - I have read 1,800 is a good starting point for Lifesteal (if you have clerics in the raid you should be good)
