Will my zen and astrals disappear?

ancojoancojo Member Posts: 253 Arc User
If I don't play for a while will my Zen or Astral diamonds be deleted? I'm sure I read somewhere that this was the case?

Thanks

They shouldn't. The only reason why they would is if someone else got on your account to use them. Hackers tend to like inactive accounts more than active accounts, because by the time the player finds out someone else has spent all their AD & Zen, it's too late for customer service to do anything to fix it.
My opinions are my own. I do not work for PWE or Cryptic. - Forum Rules - Protector's Enclave Discord - I play on Xbox

I understand that the context of your question suggest that you are going to be away from the game a while.

While this may be completely unrelated, but I would like to share my experiences. I have never purchase any enchanted keys on my account. I went to work for a 12 hour shift.. come back home and realizes I was short 1300 Zen. The support team seems to be very incompetent or maybe they just lack the proper tools in regards to the circumstances regarding "lost zen." They are adamant on trying to convince me that based on my account info including respecs, encanted keys, and astral diamond conversions, that their were no issues.

Let me spare you the frustration that I have had to endure and advise you not to leave any unspent Zen on your account. In the event that something is lost (for whatever strange reason). You will have a miserable experience trying to convince the support team to reimburse you.

I have gone back and fourth repeatedly and they refuse to compensate me. Although, I was disgusted by this experience I decided to not quit the game. Although, I am still continually contributing with Zen Purchases (mostly for respecs). I will adamantly advise against leaving the game with high zen count. Only purchase Zen when you are about to use in your current session.

Yeah, Zen and AD will be around for the duration of your account/character life span.

One does not simply lose AD. you either miscalculated, or bought something.

You could of also sped up some professions on accident ( VERY ANNOYING )

You made a mistake, or played after too many Jack and Cokes..

This isn't entirely true. Bugs happen and that's especially true with games like these. It is something that happens on occasion and there are times when the support team confirmed that it happened. It is true though that most cases are human error.

I'm glad that it hasnt happened to you Tomidius but it can and did happen to me.

It could have been some kind of stealth rollback they attempted to implement to fix something, glitch, or maybe even loss of packets (data). Look at all the networking issues they have had lately. Why is it in pvp recently their are disconnects which only affect one team and not the other? What about returning back only to find that you don't get any rewards at the end of the match.

Of course I don't expect you to have the answer nor do I have the logs to prove it. Obviously GM's don't either but at least trust that I wouldn't bother to type all of this if it never happened. FYI that was my first post in the forums.
