THE rule be in top 1000 to qualify for a mount is unfair for warlocks.

AS my title says is unfair for warlocks. I have a friend is in top 40 of warlocks. BUT he will not get a mount because he is at page 100. He has good kill-death ratio for sw and over him are the most common classes. Before cryptic apply that rule didnt think that warlocks are not so many ?

If you'd play enough games with basic pvp gear you'd easily get in to top 1000.

its sooooo easy to get into the top 1k. so easy. im not joking either. run with some friends esp a tank or something and hide behind them while dpsing and youll wipe teams very well.

    Who said anything was fair?

BTW... for the other comments... they are not always true.

If he is in the top 40 for his class he should still get the mount, no matter his page number

I agree... that was the the way that most people thought it would be.

How do we know it's not? No one has gotten their mount yet as far as I know
    Edit: just saw http://www.arcgames.com/en/forums#/discussion/1194191/ncl-class-top-40

Well, they obviously didn't want to hand out prizes to people who didn't achieve much in PvP, but just randomly did games on an unpopular class. Maybe they were also somehow unaware of just how badly the class does in PvP in general.

go watch vergeten and then tell me how terrible the class is. is it in need of buffs? yes. is it useless and so bad it cant be used? far from it. learn your class first.

Again, good players can make a bad class look good. Doesn't mean this vergeten guy wouldn't do 2x better on a TR. 16 SWs made the top 1000. Sixteen. Let's stick with facts here and the facts are clear.

Could LeBron James beat 99% of people in basketball with one hand tied behind his back? Yes. Does that mean it's okay for people to have to play basketball with one hand tied behind their backs? Hell no.

Easy, a SW in a high ilvl premade won't die.

I have no idea who vergeten is, but I don't think I would have gotten the #2 SW spot without having some inkling of how the class works (and how it doesn't).

A SW in a high ilvl premade will not die and will win matches, and you'll get straight to the top. You don't need any skill at all to do that (not that I'm saying any individual has done this). I've experienced this myself in GG where I teamed up with a 3.4k pala who had the skill that protects other players - nobody could touch me, even 5 on 1 with the golems there too.

Uh not sure if serious, but that applies to any class playing with a premade OP, so why bother rolling a SW and not a TR or CW? They'd get same protection. This says nothing about SW and everything about OP being so broken.

It says how a SW can get to the top of the league by just playing in high level premades. A solo SW has no chance.

ITT: Bad players want rewards for no effort and lack of skill. If it was up to me, only 5% of each class who are in top 500 on top of that would get a reward.

Winning matches along with a high-ranked team is actually not conducive to climbing the ranking charts, as you're liable to drop or stay level rather than rise.

From a SW perspective I disagree, as the class dies a huge amount in PvP (due to squishiness, poor CC and being everyone's favourite target). A high win rate and low death rate is a very good way to get up there, especially when you're compared against the majority of solo SWs who have a low win rate and a very high death rate.

Form what I experience as a warlock, that exclusively queues solo pug: today I did 5 matches during daytime, working nightshift
First match premade, second match one BIS GWF maxed "Big-nt papaxy" forgot the Name, he slaughtered everything and was unkillable 1vs 5 for a 2-2,5 IL group
Third again premade , fourth match one BIS hunter maxed,
Fifth match premade (they changed setup a bit)
I know there are better player than me, but for mediocre geared warlocks its not easy to face all day 3-4 k + Teams or BIS player
I am not sure about it, but looking some guys up in the Gateway, I just met 1min ago, i often see a char half stripped only a few legendaries wearing...probably queuing for the next PUG-slaughtering-event ?

Yeah, but the problem is they only seem to be counting the top 1000. As SWs die a lot (except in premades) there are barely any, 16 I think. The top ones are part of the PvP guilds that dominate the first page.
