Tips for HR

I am barely able to take down the Paladins/GFs + they deal insane dmg onto me, I feel I shouldn't be focusing them because they are almost immortal, instead I feel I should be focusing TR's/CW's/HR's etc, is this right?...
CW seem to outrange, disable me, then kill me
TR can be dealt with using fox shift and dashes but a lot of the time I have to be running from them, can't reliably get dmg on them unless they're focused on someone else..

HR feels dependent on following the group and almost useless solo, I find it hard to get the opportunities to get on the node in domination to get the +300 because once on i am at extreme risk from gwfs gf, trs, cws, etc...

does life ever get better as a HR, i am only 62 atm I was hoping the game would feel better once I get level 70.

    high ilvl hr can almost permacc, and bis ones deal decent damage, but hr work best along with some high dps class providing cc support

    still the class is kind of fkd atm

    HR is super good teaming with high DPS class, u gotta find the right partner to stick with

    I also agree our damage base is really really low. It is a pain to do lowbie pvp in a hunter ranger, a gf with green gear on can own me

    Because trapper builds focuse at damage from % of your weapon damage - thorned roots, longshot. Weapon damage for hr is low, so your overall damage is pathetic. Dont count encounters damage because its more more ridiculous than anything. For little self-healing invest in Cruel Recovery offhand bonus. To upgrade more damage invest in vorpal or feytouched to get higher roots damage even you can try Holy Avenger its always more healing for you. Base of trapper tree is crit chance - you get chance for another daze from crushing roots or boosting roots damage.

    In the ranger forums there was a pvp long shot build, which was a more balanced damage/CC build. The current apex ranger build - trapper - is low damage high CC some argue its bugged.

    The guy who posted the long shot build listed a class vs class breakdown in comparison to HR Trapper builds. It may not be a good build for top tier pvp or premades, but if you are posting here it maybe better for you - where better may equal more fun.
