Cant use Tiamat Artifact as refinement

As title says i want to use the Tiamats Orb of Majesty to refine my Horn of Blasting. But i cant drag it into the refining slots, it just shows a red X. Is it just a bug or is it not possible to do so?

    iirc, you cant refine artifacts with artifacts of higher rank, maybe that's what's happening?

    You can do that.

    I refined and upgraded a blue waters into a purple one. After that I used it to refine a green cleric sigil. Worked perfectly for me.

    After that I did the same and used the second purple Waters to refine the legendary cleric sigil of another toon. Also worked.

    It's possible that the Tiamat artifact is bugged. I think you can only send a bug report and hope, that they will change it at a later time. But you probably won't be able to use it during this double RP event.

    Tiamat Orb artifact is bugged since its introduction. Or at least since 1st RP x 2 after its introduction, because thats the earliest report I remember :)

    Thanks for all the answers :) First i thought i have missed the line in the tooltip, which says it cant be used as refinement. Refined it up to 59 already so im glad that its "only" bugged so i can still use it when they fix it :D Hope they do it till next double RP

    Tiamat's Orb of Majesty will be usable to refine other artifacts soon.

    i had already reported this sometime back and they said they'll look into it..
    the mail i got:


    Subject
    unable to use Orb of Majesty for RP
