Cube of augmentation did not work at all.

So I was looking at the cube of augmentation in the game and by the in game description it works on artifact equipment. Only it seems it doesn't work at all. At least not in any way the in game description says it suppose to work. I have a piece of artifact equipment and reading the description lead me to believe I could use it on my piece of artifact equipment. But guess what, NOPE, does not work at all. As a matter of fact it does absolutely nothing at all. And worse, I CAN'T EVEN GET RID OF THE DARN THING.

You have an in game item that does not work as the in game description says it is supposed to and then when it doesn't work because the description is no where near right at all, you can't even get rid of it.

    That is because unless you are trying to change the passive on your artifact offhand weapon or the secondary skill of the offhand it is not going to work. That is the only artifact equipment it currently works on. Now with Mod6 I assume it will also change things on the mainhand too. And I think you can not change those until it reaches level 35. And all the changes are random, too.

    Unless the gear has a randomly chosen stat or passive enhancement that you are able to change (and you will have the option to do in the right-click menu for that item) then a cube of augmentation is irrelevant.

    That would have been nice to know in the description of the item but no, the description is extremely vague and gives you no idea what this works on or doesn't work on. It says artifact equipment in the description, not off-hand artifact equipment or extremely limited artifact equipment. All I care about now is just being able to get rid of it because someone thought it was a brilliant idea to make it not sell-able or discard-able.

    Just keep the cube in your bank. And once you get that equipment you can use it.

    it cannot be uesd unless you are level 70 so if you bought it and are on the Xbox it is useless
    The Cube of Augmentation can be purchased from the Wondrous Bazaar for 12,500Astral Diamonds.

    It can be used to modify artifact off-hands and Elemental artifact weapons that require character level 70.

    I think you need four Cubes on any viable equipment. (Certainly needed four on my Elemental off-hand.)
