Fist of the Warband, key disapeared, screwed?

Hello everyone, I'm new to this game and forums! :)

Okay so I'm doing the Fist of the Warband quest in Towerdistrict, when I killed the second or so boss and it dropped a Barrackskey which I need for like 4 doors already, unfortunately my inventory was full, so I started discarding stuff then when I was going to pick it up it timed out and disapeared, and boss is still dead. Is there anything I can do now to reset it or something?

    Abandon the quest via the journal, then pick it up again from the questgiver.
