Yo
I hit level 60 with me Wizard at the weekend and decided to look into what a 'proper' wizard looks like, in terms of feats, powers, rotations, etc.
And I stumbled upon this staggering detailed post over on the PC forum -
http://nw-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?780981-Community-Chem-s-CW-Compendium-Everything-you-need-to-know
There is
a lot of info there, and it's possible that some of it is slightly of out date in terms of newer gear and dungeons, but it made a huge difference when I respecced my character. There was a daily quest (it was in the graveyard and I think it was called Ghost Hunters) that was kicking my HAMSTER before the change, yet afterwards it was pretty much a walk in the park.
A kind of tl;dr about how it works is with conduit of ice on RB (for the spell mastery bonus), with the others being shard of the endless avalanche, icy terrain, steal time, and chilling cloud. There's no set rotation as such, but start off with conduit of ice and then just use everything else as you see fit.
Comments
When leveling Shield in there is fantastic.
Once you get Icy Terrain, Conduit of Ice is wonderful in there.
Picking and choosing passives is essential to maximize specific builds.
Getting a rotation going that compliments one another is something every CW should toy around with.
Learning how to position yourself and mobs to maximize spell effectiveness is something that every CW should do.
Loading out based on situation is something that every CW should do.
Planning ahead while speccing your CW (specifically feats) is something every CW should do.

At any rate, the only difference between those guides and the XB1 version will be gear from the dungeons Malabogs Castle and Valindras Tower. In addition, none of the items found in the Well of Dragons or Tiamat encounter will be available.
In addition, anything mentioning black ice, black ice gear, Icewind dale, Caer-konig, and black ice shaping has not yet been released on Xbox 1 - It'll be out eventually. The only enchantments that havent been released are fey blessing (% chance to drop an enchantment at your feet when you kill an enemy), Black Ice Enchantment, and other event enchantments (i.e. Tymoras, Brutal, Cruel, Savage). Those will all come eventually.
Otherwise, those guides linked above are pretty much the same version as the XB1 version of Neverwinter right now.

Thaumaturge's Time To Shine: A Complete Guide
> Here's a guide I put together for the PC version before the latest module, and most of it should still be relevant for the Xbox. At the very least, it should give you some good direction on how to spec and feat your CW.

Because of the forum migration I can no longer get to this :/

I also updated the last section to include older stuff that's relevant to the Xbox still. Keep in mind the table of content links are borked with the transition, so you'll have to manually scroll to the end.
I had a question about your build. The feats in the renegade and oppressor tree lines do not reflect what I see on Xbox One as far as the pictures of the feats go. So it looks like I'm picking a different feat and some of them just sound useless. I was wondering if you could list off what you chose and how many points you spent in those feats please.

thank you for your guide, it works very well for some of the content.
Though I feel like it needs certain adjustments for the current Xbox gameplay as we have it.
Like when I see teams being quickly wiped out in dungeons (and even in some encounters) and the kiting fight style gets very much a reality for CWs using some of the spells (however awesome they used to be) - like Steal Time becomes a no-no as you need to be constantly on the move or else you get killed.
