Does Ruby coupon from lvl70 chest still scam you?

As the title says. I know there was issue in the past where despite using the coupon it will take full price. Did Cryptic fix that or it still scam you?

    You have to be careful when using the coupon. If you doubleclick the coupon it brings up the purchase window but doesn't apply the coupon. You have to use the dropdown to apply the coupon. Luckily I learned the hard way with a coupon for a lockbox key. 35 zen wasn't a big deal. The ruby coupon makes a big difference.

    I did buy rubies with the coupon because you come out ahead selling them on the AH. With a double RP weekend coming up, the demand should be high for all RP items. arcgames.com/en/games/neverwinter/news/detail/9412853
