Double Summon with No Decay

So I guess since the summoner's draw thing was made official, they must've just got rid of the 10 second timer for duplicates. I somehow ended up with an extra Corpsefiend in my hand, so I cast it, expecting the old behavior, but to my surprise, they just both hung out until I changed zones. Note that the display on the right claims I have "x1" of them.

I'm not sure how I ended up drawing the second copy. The only notable thing I can think of is that I attempted to change the Corpsefiend's skin shortly before this.

I read a post stating that you could have two copies of the same creature at the same time doing something with the skins.
