The Shadow Barrage spell reads : "... to a random target four times per seconds for 24 seconds ..." at rank 1 but it definitely doesnt last for 24 seconds. At max, it lasts for about 10 seconds.

Was super excited to have a long-lasting hazard only to find it lasts for less than half of its stated time.
It does indeed last for 10 seconds as mentioned above.
It even says 32 seconds (at lvl 5) but it's still just 10 seconds.
I was pretty hyped too. I thought that the way higher mana costs in comparison to "Fire Dance" are justified because of three times the duration ... but well
