I was able to make my freeform! Thank you so much for your updates on the issue, and, of course, thanks for the fix. Again, I really appreciate the kind communication you've provided. I look forward to playing when the server's are back up!

Thanks for the reply. I've had some seriously bad experiences with support on a new, different game lately which forced me away from it. The release notes said this today: Unfortunately, though, I still get the "no character slot" message when trying to make my freeform character.
