Back in the day there was a bug that gave out a stack of 10 (I think) permanent unbound transport devices in one of the level reward boxes, might have been the level 20 one. This was obviously intended to be 10 one use devices, so nowadays we don't get them anymore. So, check your old characters if they still have any…
Last time I used it it definitely worked. Once you get used to the targeting it can be a nice spike damage boost, since it often hits almost at the same time as the power you activate after it.
If I remember correctly the Costume rename tool allows you to change the in game name displayed for the costume, thus controlling the sorting, albeit manually for each costume.
You should be able to mail items to your other characters as well I think, but I'm not sure. Go to an UNTIL terminal and try sending the items to your charactername@globalname.
If it fits your concept I'd recommend going PA/Laser sword; that way you can take one of the energy/particle-buffing passives. You'd have to keep to the energy attacks from PA and you'd still lose out on some form bonus and the bonus from your stance, but it might be a lesser hit compared to mixing damage types. Another…
Steadfast is probably going to be enough to solve your energy woes. I'd try adding that before doing anything else, It'll most likely make your problems go away.
Nope, I don't have the perk. I'll have to see if I ever manage to grind it out. Edit: Is there something more to Moonstruck than the healing rune? Cause you can get that from other sources (and I do have one of those). Ok, just found the advantage. Pretty bad that this mechanic is hidden behind a perk wall like that. :/
Well, in its current state PFF isn't much of a tanking power, both because of underperformance and because of bad synergy with the game's strongest support mechanic; heals. To really fix it would require at least a rebalancing and probably a mechanics change, both of which take (comparably) large amounts of developer time…
Yeah, in the leveling stuff he's great. Mostly feeling squishy in the new alert compared to my other tanks; but they're either level 40 or using invuln (which is great for that alert) so it might just be skewed perception.
Ok, maybe I've underestimated Regen. :) I'm leveling a Regen tank right now, and at level 33 he stills feels a bit squishy. Might get better when I'm out of leveling gear and have ranked up all my powers.
I'm having a lot of fun! The only issue I have with it is the knockback on the top platform. 1 missed block = death is ok-ish in a cosmic fight but I find it to be a bit harsh for an alert, especially with the time it takes to get back to the team.
I generally do melee/range hybrids in one of two ways. Either take the main AoE attack of the build as the "wrong" type (the type which isn't buffed as much by your form), works great with tanks where you won't have to worry about your passive in the build. The second way to do it is to build a support character, using…
I'm guessing you're talking about these two? The flower is a combo between one of the monstrous heads and a flower top accessory (or is it face? not in game atm so can't check). The glowy head is probably a glow aura combined with glowing eyes and my 150% bloom settings.
Thanks for the feedback! I think I'll start playing the build the next time I get a free slot and see where it ends up. :) And yeah, 3 AOs is unneccessary, I think I was a bit tired when building yesterday. ^^ I'm guessing you kept frenzy in the build for its defensive potential instead of using something like masterful…
Apart from what has already been said, the only thing I have to offer is maybe messing around with one of the helmets to see if you can get something that at least approximates what you want.
Additionally, they finally fixed the bug where Automated assault took a long time before it activated again after being overridden by another hand slot. This fix is great!
It's cape mantle + cowl neck piece coloured the same. Just tested it out, looks good. One of the many reasons I love lurking this part of the forums is getting little pointers like that. :)
Yeah, that's what I was afraid of...I wanted something where the border was a bit further down and with more of a pointed peak. Oh, well, I don't have enough concepts to make all of the costumes I have floating in my head anyway, guess I'll have to shelve this one. :) Thanks guys!
