From what I heard, when PWE bought out Cryptic, they only really wanted STO but Cryptic said that it was a package deal and they made them keep CO up as long as it turned a certain percentage of profit. I've probably spent around 2000 dollars on the game myself, I enjoy the hell out of it and did since I tried it in beta. This has also made me wonder if I should carry on spending money on it or not. But I think the problem is more a combination of things for me: 1. Gold players aren't getting anything for being gold…
