I use IDF. I like it just fine. I am Free Form. My concept was being a power null, or absorbing damage. My damage output is still really good. But I geared for Crits, and stacked Ego for ranged. Ego Storm is considdered a close area attack. It is ranged and not melee and not physical damage. The strenth perk will not effect it. Scarnes bane does say in the tool tip that it removes energy forms. It also says it removed buffs. So what buffs is it removing exactly if it only works on energy forms? What are these other buffs? Who knows.

One thing i like about part of the new Telepathy powers is Congress of Selves. I am a Free Form player and I see some benefit.
