I'm 100% against this but if you're really set on doing this- If you're doing this as a countermeasure against having more than the available device slots, a suggestion: Make this only take effect in combat. It'd still suck, especially for "Oh **** I need to swap" moments, but it'll suck less if you have different builds…
Since the event's gonna be running for 4 weeks, are the subevents gonna be spaced out more properly now or will the undead heroes + doomlords still be squished together for week 2 while week 3 and 4 are for Tako?
Ah. I'm not deliberately trying to push the line, but I'm really worried of crossing it. Or at least I was. I was worried about a character design that I don't see as problematic, but someone with different values might deem so. But I like the character too much so I just decided to say screw it and just get struck if the…
As much as I appreciate that (definitely gonna use that advice if I decide to go for a more optimized route), those builds are a bit way past "cheap" and "turn-your-brain-off." Though I don't think I can backload that well with my ping.
Looks like I'll need to think up a martial artist concept for a future toon, thanks. But is there a reason for Dex primary over Str? Other than being able to take Con as a superstat. Is Gravity Driver actually that good? I have a Stormbringer toon that has Gigabolt as a main attack instead of LArc, and the inconsistency…
You're right in that assumption, though I might be asking for too much. I want something that has a simpler playstyle, but can carry dead weight in Dino fights, even with L40 blues and greens. Pretty much, I'm looking for raw damage output here, so whichever power's capable of that, I guess. ...tbh, I made this post…
Making the Rampage currencies a certain, once per day, drop would help immensely, IMO. Spamming a Rampage for an entire cycle without a single currency drop gets really disheartening. I'd even support DG and VG matching Justice costs if rampage currencies aren't a gamble. Or maybe make the Rampages drop GCR to incentivize…
Is LArc good enough to carry 3 or so other people through Dino without heavy investment? Might be because my experience with it is only through the Tempest AT, but it didn't seem like it at the time.
The problem here is that every time they did a Questionite sink event like TPB, they ran it with a Zen store sale, which means they kept the demand for both currencies up. Kinda weird - never seen them do that before the Embracer acquisition. It was either Qnite sink or a Zstore sale, never both at the same time. Hope that…
I know we like to joke about the devs and the spaghetti code, but I'd like to think they're not incompetent to the point that they can't create a check that would prevent this from happening. Admittedly, from my rough pseudocode (and an assumption of how the game handles cooldowns), it definitely is simpler to just not to.…
Hi. Any news? Or if this is really abandoned, a descendant to the descendant? NGL, the amount of changes needed now seems daunting, and way too much for one person.
Suggestion: Move the UNTIL disk further away from the jets so we don't accidentally become dead weight during the boss fight. Cooldowns are still on-completion. That's nice. Reduced sidekick tokens too? Real nice. Guess I got my answer on a previous post - won't be able to carry over shop tokens between minor events…
Might as well voice my own feedback here too- Account-wide tokens are a nice QoL increase. Who would've thought. I'm kinda indifferent on the Premium creds. Functionally, they're practically wrapper missions minus the bonus rewards at the end. Looking with a developer's point-of-view, I kinda get the switch. Still prefer…
What mostly stops me from using Gadgeteering is that the main powers boil down to "gun but it doesn't shoot bullets" and I'd love more variation to powers the can be used as your main attack. While we do have that variation, it's just they're more utility powers than main attacks. For example, in DCUO you have different…
This, so, so much. The on-turn-in cooldown timer forces you to dedicate your time explicitly to grinding the event. Gonna be busy for a day? Tough luck, you can't stock that mission for later, and now you've missed a day (or messed up your timers). Endgame stuff happening? Now you have to readjust your schedule tomorrow…
Is this just gonna go to live after today's downtime? Others have already said what my thoughts are on this, and I don't feel like just regurgitating the same points.
I don't hate devices at all, but I like them as something to complement or fill a gap for your build, not something that's central to a build in the way that PVDs are. I've suggested this before but... yeah. In-character-wise, the concept of PVDs can be stupid too. It's like being Human Torch, except he needs a…
Relevant suggestion that went unnoticed. The change sucks, but there are other ways to stack Manipulator mid-CC. Gonna have to use that free respec to pick up a root of some kind.
I used to run a character that only used bubbles + nanites to support, and never had issues with scoring since the change, so it does count. Only real times I couldn't score enough were either the run was too quick, or if there's another bubbler present.
I like JSH's reviews because they're from a newbie's perspective, it gives the viewer an idea of what they'd experience if they're gonna pick up the game. His review made me realize just how different newbies see the early game, in contrast to those of us who just blitz through it. Also made me realize just how janky the…
Some of us tanks have been asking for this and what we got was endgame gear that increases threat. Which doesn't help pre-40 or when you're endgame grinding, and even then it's not even enough of a threat increase for tanks to forego threat mods. I'm still in the camp that threat mods shouldn't exist and should have been…
I agree with most of the things, except for the ones related to getting more Gs. Players generating more Gs would just promote more inflation, and the costs of things would just adjust to match the higher incoming G production.
Your block is pretty much the defensive option, which is why it's quite important to get a replacer. I think I'm missing something, but what do you mean by ESP? It's optional, but I suggest getting a threat wipe of sorts. There are some fights with threat wipe mechanics, and it's also generally useful if things go…
2) It's the things that change your block, like Parry, Deflect, Guard, etc. Since you're planning an endgame build, you need it a whole lot more. Preferably Rank 3, but could get away with a Rank 2 depending on build. 3) Defiance is a tanking passive, not DPS - you can't even use it in DPS role. If you plan to make a…
So... a few things:* Are you planning to take this build to endgame content, or just for general/event stuff? * You're lacking a block replacer. Is that okay for you? * Is there a reason for picking up Defiance? * You may want to pick up a different self-res than Rebirth. Depending on circumstances, that self-DoT might…
Kinda different about what the OP was talking about. Off the top of my head, your Nanites not working for others could be the result of one or both of two things: the aura target limit or a broken teamup. Auras have a limited number that they can affect - 20, IIRC. If there are a lot more people than that within range, not…
Just gonna piggyback off of this instead of making a new topic - started having similar issues around May 10th, UTC+8: Launcher (and the login process in-game) kept failing to communicate with the servers, and SNRs during loading screens, but if I ever got into the actual game, everything runs fine (until I go through a…
Looks like another bad copy-paste job, like the times when the news post got the dates wrong. It's from the August 11 post from last year when they were promoting the Hybrid Shoulders and Bone Horns.
Was the swarm adjusted? Because honestly, it was too much. Scratch that. Moar bugs. Definitely not because I need to farm the swarm on my alt. Aren't those from Nightmare Invasion?
That's what I'm looking for, thanks. I also just noticed I pasted the wrong build, so I changed that, and changed it to use Brutality. Edit: ...and the forum ate my edited post. Why.
I suppose I could've worded it better, but I meant more in the line of "if I lose 5% crit rate, but gain 5% severity, is that an even trade?" or something like that.
JaazPls. It'd actually be Xeenth, an alternate universe Xinth who sports a 70's-style moustache. Is there some kind of math behind the crit rating<>severity values? Like how much rating a percent of severity is worth and vice versa. The main thing I'm concerned about is severity going to waste because of not critting…
Yeah, player-side anyway. I'd love some of those abilities the New Shadows use. That's why it's driving me insane. The game's giving me options, but they don't mix well. The reason I decided to dual-role is because in Cosmics/event OMs, there's sometimes an abundance of better tanks while I still want to play this…
There are situations where I'd love to have a hard taunt ability, but I doubt this will happen because we used to have one that got changed. The single-target type of Challenge used to be able to hard taunt for 4 seconds, with a 10-second shared internal cooldown and a 10-second immunity thereafter. I do think tank's…
Great story, not enough details. 8.8/10. That wasn't me. I don't doubt that it happened to you, but you're barking up the wrong tree. Good job. Really helps your credibility. Funny enough, I think I know who actually did that to you, and our @ names may be familiar enough to cause confusion. But I'm not 100% so I'm not…
