Not really. I subscribe here and DCUO. I use my Stipend here to open lockboxes. In DCUO, I get to open them for free as part of my subscription, and then use that stipend for other things. Then Cryptic has the most expensive, and yet least impressive, servers in the gaming industry. It'd more of something I'd support if…
From a F2P standpoint, yes, Champions is okay. Sure, there are better models out there, such as STO or even Rift (by far one of the best F2P offerings), but you have to also bear in mind that unlike some of the craptastic F2P games out there that push hard as heck to nickle and dime you, such as the one you mentioned, or…
Being a casual myself, I have to agree with that. I'd also have to agree that for the most part, even Elite is not overly difficult. Which is a shame, because I expected a heck of a challenge from it. I'm no hardcore gamer or raider or anything. I'm the guy that since 1999, logs into whatever MMO, plays for fun, goes about…

I already knew most resources were going to STO and NWN. Heck, when they hired on a couple of the story writers from Paragon after CoH got notice, they were put on STO, not Champions. So, I knew what I was coming back to.
Before at least, they had a competitive reason to add Foundry to CO-- as you stated, the M.A. from CoH. And they didn't add it. Now with CoH gone, what other superhero game is there? DCUO (and I apply the term "competition" very loosely to that game). So, even less incentive now for them to put the money into adding it to…
Yeah, there were people over there playing. It's no secret that while NCSoft owned the City of Heroes I.P., Cryptic still owned the engine and licensed it to them. There is a rumor floating around (but no official word on any of it), that the license had a 5 year term and then renewal. The 5 years is just about now. The…
