Depends on your presence stat too. You will want that as your primary stat as that constitutes hold strength. What theme do you have?

Bit of a side note.... How would i gear for this? Character is lvl 38 and i have no idea where to begin lol

have you taken the Manipulator toggle? The holds in CO have a 'life bar' essentially. So yes while the hold time itself isnt great, the hold itself can be damaged causing the hold to break.

I shall give i another go - the lack of power could very well be down to gearing. Im yet to reach lvl 40 - currently 37.

hmm so say i went with something like this.... I ideally like to keep heat wave as i like the animation, it has good recharge time, procs wither, takes advantage of fire snakes debuff, and does great dmg. if i did replace it with ebon ruin would the dmg be comparable? How about this then? Not majorly different. Now that i have Int as primary would i benefit much from pres? I mean granted it will increase the heal from conviction and the hold of grasping & mental storm. Then you also have ebon sigils. Gah too many powers and not enough room! Finally! The forums are back I did contemplate going more crowd control....i originally created the character on City of Heroes as a Dominator with gravity control as her base power. On a side note - is the community any better than what it was 2 yrs ago?
