Besides the afforementioned ebon destruction, does any passive buff ranged and melee equally? I mean flat dps, not a passive like AOPM that just gives a flat buff to all.
In addition to Selphea's examples, consider Night Warrior.
A "strawman" argument is when you misrepresent the argument of your opponent in a debate, then attack that instead of the actual argument. You are, in essence, fighting a straw man you yourself have constructed, rather than the actual opponent.
Interpreting facts differently is not "strawmanning"; it's a difference of opinion.
"Science teaches us to expect -- demand -- more than just eerie mysteries. What use is a puzzle that can't be solved? Patience is fine, but I'm not going to stop asking the universe to make sense!"
I'll just keep it simple. Level a toon to level 40...new toon unlocked. Thats how it works. Until you hit the max (which is above 100 toons if I remember right). So, just use debugger to make all your toons level 40 and you'll have all the toon slots you need. Or have people forgotten about this?
actually copied characters dont give you the extra slot on the pts. and we can only copy the first page.
you being a fellow alter should know that, as cross does as well, for me with 93 toons and 71 40s it makes the PTS annoying at times
I wonder if they could make aspect of the machine based on time engaged in combat, building stacks based on time engaged with targets, rather then toggles maintained, or other factors.
it could make sense in the idea that a machine can make adjustments too what its doing too fine tune it during combat. It would give a reason to want too stay in combat too build stacks which in my opinion would give it a different feel then the current damage buff toggles. as its stands killing blows is easy solo, but as soon as you group much more, well unpredictable, and thus unreliable.
That's actually an interesting idea, garble. It would make a lot of thematic sense - I, at least, think of machines as being predictable. Like clockwork. So a form that just stacks up in combat, predictably, like clockwork... that works.
It would probably need some fine-tuning of how fast it stacks, and what you get from each stack, but I do like the idea. That would be much more thematically appropriate for an "Aspect of the Machine" than stacking on killing blows.
Pretty much all toggles are maintained by staying in combat, it's to varying degrees challenging to impossible to retain your stacks outside of combat.
My problem with Aspect of the Machine is that it is, well, boring; higher damage bonus and lack of energy return might balance out, but it seems like there should be something a toggle can do other than 'Moar Damage!'. There are currently toggles that give as their focus:
Crowd Control
Defense (not very useful)
Healing
Melee Damage (two choices -- Dex or Str)
Ranged Damage
There is nothing that boosts knocks (which fits Ego and Str), though I'm not sure the theme of 'can launch people into the stratosphere' is all that 'machine-like'. One of the more traditional machine-like themes is being tireless, though that steps on the toes of any End or Rec builds. Proc effects are possible. Applying debuffs to the target is possible. Or you could have a defensive/healing aspect, where it adds something like a lifestealing effect on every one of your attacks (every time you do damage, you recover a fraction of it as healing); that encourages an attacking style.
I thought he was trying to say that the other guy was dull and shallow...
It has to do with a phrase something along the lines of "the pot calling the kettle black" when they're both black. Cast iron cook wear is black in color.
Basically, Silverspar is saying that DaZee is guilty for the same thing she's being accused of.
And this thread is about current PTS patch, not who is what kitchen utensil....
We all know how dull you all can get.
So stop forking about.

Also consider Earth Form... which so happens to be the "other" New passive (along with NW).

List of logical fallacies.
