Someone did a thread like this a year or so ago, I think.
The first theme song for my characters I can come up with off the top of my head is Happifun Security System X-4's theme, Vital Signs. Some thought would be required for the others.
"Science teaches us to expect -- demand -- more than just eerie mysteries. What use is a puzzle that can't be solved? Patience is fine, but I'm not going to stop asking the universe to make sense!"
Sister Silicon Prime's theme song? I've accumulated a whole playlist. If you had to pin me down to a single song, I'd probably take "Titanium".
Choose your enemies carefully, because they will define you / Make them interesting, because in some ways they will mind you
They're not there in the beginning, but when your story ends / Gonna last with you longer than your friends
Kitty SX-3, my biodroid toon, has "Fiction (Dreams in Digital)" by Orgy. The first verse and the chorus really have a good reflection on the character's history. Second verse not so much.
Yeah, but if he had tried posting in that thread it would have been replied with a few posts of "Wow, way to necro a thread!" followed by Biff locking it.
And, I'm gonna fly my 60s Spiderman Freak Flag by saying I loved the music that incidental music from those cartoons. I know that 60s Spiderman is made fun of by you whippersnappers, but great Jazz is still great Jazz.
Maybe those go with Chocolate Rampage. Next time I go into battle with him I'll play it and let you know.
The music is divided up on 7 Youtube vids, but there's a single file to download HERE if you like late 60s jazz or have an eclectic taste in music, you can try it.

1. It's in my signature.
2. It's a different type of thread, much like a suggestion thread or the # of level 40's thread. It's time insensitive, unlike say... a topic talking about a bug that was long since fixed. Make sense?
3. It's out of my control if nobody has posted to it in awhile.
4. Most internet forums strive against reposting the same thread over and over, considering it spam. Not sure why the opposite is encoruaged by Biffsmackwell here, and it's something him and I have bumped heads over in the past.
2. It's a different type of thread, much like a suggestion thread or the # of level 40's thread. It's time insensitive, unlike say... a topic talking about a bug that was long since fixed. Make sense?
True.
3. It's out of my control if nobody has posted to it in awhile.
True but not relevant.

The rules don't actually state anything about posting to threads that are not time-sensitive. Sometimes we have to look at these kinds of things as a gray area, and make a judgment call. We do this as a favor to the forum users so people don't feel like they're being punished for honest, harmless mistakes, and ease of use.
The rules do clearly state that you shouldn't post to a thread that hasn't been posted to in over 30 days, so even if there is an old thread that does not contain time-sensitive content, posting a new thread about the same subject as an old thread is absolutely and completely within the rules.
I don't expect everyone to search dutifully for any other threads that might cover the same topics as one they're thinking of posting. If we have five threads on the same topic on the front page, we might have a problem, but I think this issue does not bear the same burden and carry the same unadulterated gravitas as the previously mentioned scenario.
So to be succinct, I "encourage this behavior" because it fits squarely within the rules and I'm loathe to punish folks who aren't breaking them.
Now let's get back on topic and post some theme songs!

Bunni's are on her PRIMUS page (link to it below) but I'll share Interplanet Janet's theme song. As a matter of fact her bio is simply the chorus tweaked to her being a rock star and leader of her band The Comets Cause ya know, School House Rocks is awesome ^.^

Both songs work for different reasons. There are a few other songs for Sterga, but I don't feel like looking up the YouTube videos for them. Because laziness.
Hey, I was just playing Takedown over the weekend. It makes me sad that Criterion isn't making Burnout games anymore. And I hate you, Nepht, for sharing that. I was trying to forget! NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! *tears*
He didn't return on his own - he was killed during the Vietnam War and revived by Pajau Yan, the goddess whose spheres include healing and guiding the spirits of the dead to the afterlife, so that he could redeem himself by training to prevent the Apocalypse - but he did get a taste of Heaven, before being returned to the land of the living.
And he's not necessarily happy about that.

You guys seriously need to just make a video of some action with ur character and your theme song playing in the background, that would kick- ****.
I would, I really would... but Turando is still missing his key powers. That and ever since Google took over Youtube, I haven't been able to post videos there.
for rian frostdrake, my main who is kind of a trigun style funny character with a darker backstory who is basically trying to be a "good" hero in an ambiguous world i fight dragons-nobody likes superman
and finally for my Main main, amara kindwind, who is basically a normal 20 something whit a weird mutated appearance and the ability to read and cast spells in a number of dead and forgotten languages.(yes, her superpower is super-literacy) still here-superchick
