    Rookie! Where's that coffee?

Just kidding, Trendy. It could be worse: We could make you buy dinner for the team, then rack up a 5-figure tab at the best steakhouse in town.

Oh, our forums aren't nearly bloody and twisted enough to compare to Irish mythology. At least not yet...
Ha.. oh please. If anything, I'd be ordering you to get me coffee! :3

    Greetings! *bows*
Hope you grow to love the freedom offered by CO as most of us here have, and can help turn a jaded community into a .. uh, sparkling jade.

(yeah, if my heroes had superpowers, one of them wouldn't be 'making good metaphors')
I have my plans, both short term and long term to make things even more... awesomer!

Pfft... this forum is Candyland compared to most others. Don't believe the repetitive hype.

I have to agree. I'd rather have a cynical community of vets than a madhouse filled w/ trolls and turf wars- as many of the larger communities are.

    CO's isn't that bad.. really :X

    Hey everyone!

So you might have seen my name start to appear around in Champs. It's time for me to formally introduce myself. My name is Morrigan, or LaughingTrendy and I'm your new Community Manager! I'll be working closely with trailturtle (a wonderful personal friend of mine) to get news and content delivered directly to you!

While I have experience working on multiple titles, I'm particularly thrilled for the opportunity to work on Champions Online. I absolutely adore the visual elements, story and groundwork (and I just started into it not too long ago). My hope is to use my experience and skills in community outreach to help enrich this already beautiful game. I'm really thrilled for this opportunity. That's where you come in.

Champions, I will have a minor presence on the forums, but my goal is to spend more time with you in the game actively learning about it and more importantly, the community. Message me! Group up with me! I'd love to chat with all of you while playing. You can find me with my in-game handle as [@pwlaughingtrendy]. You can also find me on twitter @LaughingTrendy. In order for me to grow and develop so I can better serve you, it's alongside all of you.

Pay attention to our blogs, our Twitter, and our Facebook page to keep up to date on all the cool things we have planned for you. I'm really psyched that I will get to tell you the latest and greatest.

    Let the questions begin!

    ~LaughingTrendy

    O HAI THAR!

Welcome to Champions Online and enjoy the ride.

I guess the obvious question remaining is, "Have you made a character yet?"

Yes I have! I already have multiple. I'm exploring all the options available... and there are many! :D

All the options? You're gonna need more toons. This isn't like STO, where there are three careers, three factions, and a handful of races to choose from - in here you can do almost literally anything.

(Hells, my character count is somewhere in the teens, and I'm Silver, so all my toons are ATs - and I still haven't done everything that can be done...)

Why hello there jonsills! Fancy meeting you here! Though I do recall you mentioning that you were on both STO and CO.

Yeah... my biggest roadblock I'd encounter with any game is character customization: I'd simply spend too much time on it. However, my attempts at making the look of a Tech-Priest has been successful thus far. Next up - ANUBIS!

bestial legs are obviously under bestial.
egyptian skirt and sandals, same clothing set

Hehe, you can never spend too much time on customization in CO, it's one of the best features of our game. :D

I spend hours making a single costume for my Imp's sometimes.

Just a little tip for choosing powers for your character. If you ever get stuck on what to pick try singling down to less attacks, 3 attacks max all which do a unique job. Then go for the active defences and active offences (very useful buffs), also make sure you pick up at least one self heal as it will make your life a lot easier against scary thugs with chains.

All in all, enjoy your time here.

Also as spinny said convince the devs to fix Pvp... Cough, cough.

Maybe you could poke the devs to do a graphics engine update with fancy DX11 light beams and shadows and depth of field and all so we can look even prettier, and maybe bring in some of the NWO fighting styles for even more options *nudge* *wink* *hint*

Prob because Anubis was depicted in black by the ancient Egyptians, a color that symbolized both rebirth and the discoloration of the corpse after embalming.

    Welcome LT.

So Community Manager? Is that like a Cruise Director? Should we just call you Julie?

If you don't get that reference, it's okay. It just means that you are NOT per-historic, like me.
