I feel so Anxious without the wiki now, I have to check stuff all the time but I can't!
I hope it will be back...

I miss Lohr, haven't seen her in years, although i hadn't been around as much as i used to either
Almost exactly what I was going to post.
I still hope she'll drop back for a visit one day, when I happen to be on.
And to the people taking over the wiki: you have a high standard and an honorable tradition to uphold. This wiki is as much part of the game as any lair, alert or combat mechanic. Make us proud.
Adding my voice as a vote of thanks to Lohr and all the editors for creating and maintaining the wiki.
I always appreciated it, especially for events and perk hunting. And also, thanks for giving the files to the devs instead of just shutting down and walking away. Do hope you're back someday.
Drats!.....Lohr's CO wiki was the Ultimate & best all around. I want to Thank Lohr and all the contributors, as this was the most excellent wiki for the game. Anytime you got stuck or needed extra information on the game, it was there.
You guys are all very welcome. It was my pleasure to be able to provide you all with a wonderful resource. I still have a lifetime, in fact I have two and still talk to many people whom I have met while playing CO.
For the record, yes I hosted and paid for the wiki out of my own pocket. I never planned to add advertising, ask for donations or try to sell it to some giant wiki conglomerate.
As of yet, I have not yet provided the files to Cryptic. I fully plan on it, so long as no one from the player base is getting stuck hosting it as I don't think someone else other than devs should (I'm pretty sure they have the server space). Hell, I'd consider turning it back on if the devs paid for it.
I'm still around, just not as active as I once was.

Thank you for dropping by Lohr. From what's written so far, it is evident we appreciate your efforts. Thanks again for everything. We really do hope the wiki can come back in one way or another.

Yeah, we all miss ya Lohr.. and i know normally someone is going to be like "don't speak for everyone you can't possibly know what we think" but in this case if they don't they should anyway
And oh hai blueion, long time no see, fancy seeing 2 friends post in a row in one thread
Hi Lohr, since you're on, just also wanted to give thanks. Not just for me, but for friends of mine who gave the game a shot and stayed on a bit, thanks to your wiki.
CO-Wiki was a great tool to bring new players to CO. Even though they won't understand everything, it gives them the confidence to try, knowing they can look stuff up.

I could not have survived playing or had as much fun as I did without all the info and details and numbers from your Wiki. There is no details anywhere else that even come close.
It is a large black mark against the company that nothing was ever done to support or fund your efforts - trying to navigate the murky waters of vague descriptions and 'Cryptic math' would have driven a lot of other people away too I am guessing without the clear info on the wiki to plan or know what is going on.
I mean I have never seen a game where one person (with some other player help too I believe) has single handedly done so much for a game (given that other games usually have more info available).

Hey Lohr,
Crowd sourcing to pay for the wiki has been suggest as one solution for the current non-wiki situation.
Does anyone have any idea how much Lohr spent to host the wiki? I don't mean to know to pry into her personal expenses, I just have no idea ... Are we talking $10/mo, $100/mo, $1000/year? What sort of ballpark are we aiming at?
Maybe we could do some kind of Kickstarter (or other crowdsource) program to raise the funds to get the wiki hosted again.
Thoughts?
In fact, it's even been mentioned that the Devs could never do the CO wiki justice, that it needs a players touch.
My question is: If someone or several someones from our current player base found an entirely different location to host the current CO Wiki and also found a way to pay for it, would you consider helping/letting it relocate and let others worry about the cost of maintaining it?
Ultimately, I think that those of us that really loved the CO Wiki are really missing it.

Someone provided the link to the Internet Wayback Machine a while back. It works.

I hope that Cryptic brings this site back alive.
