Patching problem! Please need advice!

The problem is the following:
~ you start CO launcher (doesn`t matter from where)
~ you log in, in the launcher log in
~ the launcher is checking the version, and then it patch
Well, when I say patch I didn`t say that the launcher is adding something new to game, I say that this patching is like the launcher is verifying the game but the problem is that it is staying there, it freeze there, it doesn`t appear the "Play" button!
Is like "Patching... Cancel" and it stay there.
The solution is that I could hit "Cancel" button and from there I could hit "Play" but the problem is that this problem persist everytime I launch and run the launcher!
So... can you guys help me out?
