Harley - brown tortie burmese age 16(and still does bog laps around the house)
Yes I know she's mostly red, she averages with her littermate who was mostly brown.

This other is my partner's cat, he is Khan and he is almost 6 years old. He is not friendly, he is scared of new people and bag noises.
And this is his brother and my other cat, Koroz. He is uber friendly, he asks for hugs and to be held.

First up, what I have been told is a puppy.. but I remain skepticle. Her name is Amy.
Next up, a dog... I know it's a dog because it will go outside when it's raining, and will eat any food shoved in its mouth. Her name is Natasha. She looks good for 13 right? She thinks she's 2.

This is Butterfly. She hates life. This picture took 3 seconds to take, because she is the only animal in my house that is not a spaz.
This is a mouse killing machine, otherwise known as Tinkerbell. She drops off dead mice to my dogs like offerings, and tends to go off on adventures where I don't see her for a week, and when she comes back she looks like somebody has brushed her and smells of smoked meats.

Chloe is a pygmy cat, so she doesn't get as big as normal sized fat cats do, but trust me the angle of the picture does a good job of hiding just how much big ol' cat belly there us under there o3o
When I told Butterfly that someone had called her gorgeous, she got up, turned around, and layed back down facing away from me u_u

narrower head than basenji and ears are a different shape, also tend to be a lighter build.
But it's Zenia's face. She looks just like the pictures I've seen of them.

green normal colour,
grey is dominant over green,
blue is recessive to green.
Violet is a modifier which darkens the colour.
normal wing markings are black on the inside and edge is head colour, usually yelow for green adn white for blue. Except yellow face blues which can be anything from blue with yellow m arkings to looking like a green.
Spangles have the black around the outsifde and colour inside.dominant
opaline have black inside but body colour instead of head colour
greywings have grey instead of black, recessive
clearwing, no markings, recessive but 2 spangles togaether will give you dominant clearwings- for some reason they cancel the markings
albino is blue minus colour so white all over
lutino is green minus colour so yellow all over
opaline is sex linked-
male opal to female normal, gives female opals and male carrying
female opal to male normal gives female normal and male carrying
I bred them for a few years about 30 years ago.

burmese
brown is a varient of black
choc is diffusion
blus is diluion
both are recessive to brown
lilac is dilution and diffusion, so you need blue/choc from both parents.
creams is a dilute of red, which is sex linked, 1 red gene for a red boy , 2 for a red girl. red is also a masking colour like white, so your cat is another colour underneath. or may be carrying another colour
caramal is a dominant modifier which affects recessive colours.
lilac based cream boy to lilac girl should have got lilacs and lilac torts. we got blue and blue torts.
other litter from him , putty coloured kittens
Took kittens to a judge, they identified them as blues. suggested seeing a breeder of Orientals. They couldn't work out the putty coloured ones and this was an all breeds judge.
took father and kittens. got father out of car into light. Breeder immediately said "he's an apricot" (cream with caramel modifier) cream normally has a white dusting on coat. apricot has blue reflection. his run was shaded since he was light coloured.
apart from those, blues will be brownish, chocs will be blueish.
"Todd " in stereo. a choc stud who had great looking babies ... just odd coloured.
Fun fact : if you think your Burmese cat is stripe free, take a photo of them with a flash. laying down works well, since they are spread out. Any stripes will show up.
We took a flash photo of a kitten who was going to be a stud. saw the picture and gave them a different one after checking that one.
