PTS Event AFs

At long last, we've sent out the AFs from the Lemurian Invasion test event, plus we're about to send the three Iris Irregular AFs won during Flare's 500-celebration CC. We ended up using a different tool than expected -- it didn't send an item or a message, but the AFs are unlocked for all characters on the qualifying account.

Thanks everyone for your help playtesting the Lemurian Invasion, I and the entire dev team thank you for helping us with that. I think the Invasion turned out much better because of the feedback.

    I remember helping to play test this..but this is the first I have heard about AFs for it :eek:

    If anyone encounters any issues with it, make sure you've logged out and back in.

    Nope, I still don't see the Tumerboy AF I requested on my AF list. You gave it to me on the PTS, but it's not here on Live.

    Logged in and out, different characters..etc

    Nothing here as well. Closed CO and Pidgin down and still no change.

    Would this mean that you guys found out how to make target PTS unlocks happen on Live as well?

    Target PTS? .... do the devs have a way to set item-granting to affect whoever they're targeting? Interesting. No, this is a different thing -- a re-grant rather than expanding the grant.

    Hrm. I've verified that I was able to get these AFs this way, so the tool itself works. I'll bug people until the AFs go out properly.

    uh, well hate to say it but if you were there testing on the specific night with TT, he said several times to pm or say the name of the AF you wanted to unlock.

    Hmm. Am I right that you guys didn't get any AFs on PTS? I think I may have missed you guys. Can you post your AFs and your @handles?

    EDIT: Yeah, this was only for that one session...

    EDIT 2: Buxom, you didn't get yours? Yours was Raven, right? Anyone else not get the Raven AF?

    I did not get an action figure on PTS, no. I thought we were supposed to just post what we wanted in the forum after the test was over.


    Anyways....

    I wanted the Robobo AF if possible

    I wantend the Tumorboy AF. @Gunarm But yeah would be happy to do Playtest again.

    You were to swamped with a crowd so i never asked for them on the pts. I posted everything in the thread Falchion created for it.

    It was an event to be clear, the AFs were given out during it, not before or after.

    Anyway, thanks TT, I've got my AF. Though, on the 1st login the AF was blacked out, and clicking on it pops up the 'Confirm Purchase' window. Needed to relogin a 2nd time and the AF becomes normal.

    Yes I got my action figure.

    What I was concerned about was is if you fixed the problem or found a work around. If the problem was fixed, I was just curious if it was new tech inserted or an error fixed. If it was a work around than never mind.

    Not quite either.There was a method that we discovered exclusively for AFs -- so rather than using the tech we had planned (which I would have preferred), we used this setup. The good news is that it should give me a lot of freedom to give community rewards; the bad news is that it's only for AFs, and I'll need to use it somewhat sparingly.

    Correct, it's not a switch that just transfers unlocks from PTS to live.

    Hmm. Anyone else not get Iron Swan?

    As i seem to recall, wasn't i the only one to have asked specifically for Iron Swan anyway? o.O

    Anyway, if you need do you want me to take screenshots of it in PTS?

    But what was that event on PTS you're talking about? Never read about it, what is was about, and when? :confused:

    No sign of my Tumerboy AF on Live...
    I know you gave it to me on PTS because I was the one bumping into you with my super awesome lemurian tank for like an hour waiting.

    I'm not sure if this is where to put it, but I saw the thread and figured asking wouldn't hurt.

    A while back my friend won the leveling contest for the anniversary, and was supposed to get a prize [a special title& a goodie box, I belive.]
    Anyway, they didn't. They got an email in CO to respond to with "when is good to be contacted" by someone about it, and when they replied, it somehow got glitched and the reply ended up in their STO mailbox with no way to contact anyone. So they were "eh, not going to bother." But I still feel kind of bad that never got sorted out, they did win the title. They are "@MalignMarmot&quot;

    Not your fault, I know. Just wondering if that can be fixed?

    I'm not seeing any new AFs showing up for me on Live. Haven't checked for awhile on PTS.

    I know I posted the request in the PTS thread, can't remember if I did so in game. Here is a link to the post I made though.

    As said there I would love the Tumerboy and or Tiyshen AFs.

    Are you sure it was on the right day as the event? Or even how it was down, did it have some message when logging in, or did it just not do anything when you click on the "play" button for PTS, or some other thing?

    i think it mostly comes down to people usually feel like helping to test it pointless when it's still pushed to live anyway so they wanted to get some people and try to get it running correctly this time.


    I still don't have my AF yet though, TT if you read this any idea how long it'll be? :(

    The PTS was takne down for a quick patch early on in the get together in order for the devs to make instant bug fixes, and it was down for about 30-45 minutes, then it was back up and running.
