So, since we have no video thread for hero games, I am making this thread open to all who want to post videos and I also will be posting videos of my own. All of the regular video posters (Myself, Malware, Monahiru) will have their own categories for their videos and everyone else can just post what you have whenever. So I will start off my section with my videos. Enjoy.

    Well I think it would help if Smackwell got really specific about what is okay and what is not; he's been a bit vague with "calling players out". It's obviously not against the rules to post videos, and it's not against the rules if those videos deal with pvp against specific players ( note aaaaaall the videos where Shaguar is only pvping against one specific person [i.e. all the 1v1 duel videos] that were never a problem ).

    It seems that there's something wrong with namecalling... if it occurs here on the forums, though of course there is a prescident for moderating links to inappropriatte content; i.e., if flaming isn't allowed on the forums, then you also can't link to flaming content, just like pornography isn't allowed on the forums, and you're also not allowed to link to pornography.

    Me personally, I don't think any of "those" videos need any of the name calling or whatever... everything you want to say is already being shown in the video. I like Shaguar's "don't say, do" way of going about things, and I think he, and all video posters, should stick to that. Don't worry, people watching know what's going on, and it only serves to provide contrast to anyone who spends more time talking than showing.

    So just stay polite... instead of in your description writing "This is Robin Williams, Hollywoods biggest troll and worst actor and here I <expletive> his bum.", write something like "This is Ryan Seacrest, he's known for talking about how great of an actor he is and how he can get any film role he wants... so I put him to the test!".

    There's a whole lot of "be the bigger man" that needs to go on here. Don't worry though, if you guys just take a moment and think about it, you'll realize how easy and satisfying it will actually be. :smile:


    ps - from what I gather, Smackwell is happy to do exactly what you want him to do... but you can't expect the guy with the bazooka to only blow up your enemies if you keep wandering into his crosshairs.

    Shaggy doesn't know this, but I recorded a video of his second duel with green. It was a draw. Apparently they had "similar" builds.

    You'd have to ask smackwell to change the title of the thread. I originally was going to have it just be my videos but since the main video thread got closed, I decided to have it open to everyone.

    Blue doesn't play anymore. And even when she did, she thought forums were stupid. She wouldn't want me to post her stuff on here. I'm trying to get her to come back but shes too bored of CO she says and is playing other games.

    LOL Yeah I went into stronghold today and noticed "certain individuals" were getting torn apart. I joined and said who the heck is beating you guys up so much? Then I looked at the list and said oh... shaggy's here. haha ^_^

    Anytime bro! You missed some really fun intense BASHes today. PvP is really starting to take a turn for the better. coPVP is getting more positive, more people are starting to que for hero games, not really any teaming going on, good environment. Last few days have been awesome for pvp. I've seen a variety of different builds too, not the just same old 2gm/ER. Seen some defile, LA, FC, TK, HW, DC, etc. Keep it up guys :biggrin:

    I feel Paragon deserves a "thank you" for getting the ball rolling for his organizing and effort to liven up pvp the last few days, so thanks bud :smile:

    I think Hero Games are fun as long as we play it not for ego and to insist on getting the win. In a sense, PvPing in CO cannot be taken too seriously because as Smoochan had pointed out, the game is inherently imbalanced. I am hoping everyone will keep up the effort to rally more people to queue for HG and to make things fun for everyone. That way, we can revive the dying HG and all players have more end game content.

    Everyone, just keep it going and anyone and everyone should take the lead to call for people to queue the games. Have not been in game much the last 2 days. Been boozing a bit but I am back.

    I always try to play for fun but there's always someone there trying to ruin my fun or someone else's, like today. I watch people help each other just so their clan can win. Very distasteful.

    Exactly, been in 2 bashes yesterday where it was just me, @aret_f and that implin team...needless to say that they kept teaming against us 2 and whenever we brought their hp down they begun eruption spamming...they picked the wrong person to do it though, since I atm have a full set of eruptions, so even though I didn't get the win, i made a 7-1 and a 6-3 which got me 3d on the scoring list both times, while impy had in both cases less kills and more deaths...guess that skill still plays a significant role in PvP.
    So, all this teaming makes me wonder...should I call for a war, make a new(or revive an old you could say) sg and begin using teaming and farming methods as well?...I know a few pps that are pretty good at it...hell, even Shag and Green can't beat Aphrodite any more...
    I will see how it goes, I don't yet have a huge problem with them, since my scores are still about the same, but it gets very tiring at some point when you keep on counting seconds till you have to activate your next eruption and if you won't you end up getting farmed like Rocket with a 2-7 or so...

    Yeah those stars/vnm something team are getting on everyone's nerves, and I think they've been working with dork crusade or whatever alphabet gangs are in bed with each other.... either that or nonjas are just attacking me. haha ^_^

    I don't talk to other groups since they don't like me, but I'll help you fight them if I see you there. heh... I just think it's funny because hermaphrodite is getting good now... and it's funny cause now he can make me laugh and beat people! xD

    To Sters:

    SG wars are not the answer. Spectre learned the hard way that it only polarizes the community. Try to learn from our past mistakes and avoid this. To your previous point about Aphro doing well tanking: Yeah. Aphro can SR and 2GM all day, tagging all the squishies and getting 10-0s almost every time he enters. It's nearly impossible to kill him unless you have 5+ people all on him at once. Same goes for Paragon; unless you and 7 other friends all decide you want him dead, better to just try and beat him in kills, and get others to keep harassing him to he stays on his defensive build.

    When you're being ganged on: Nearly everyone in coPvP is more than willing to jump at the chance to self-govern, queue up, and help you out. Hopefully my advice may assist you in teh future.

    This is something that Ster's sent through a PM, I'm sorry for any problems caused. I still don't understand how this is aimed at me though, I have no eruptions or anything on me PLUS every one of my kills I was killed by my team mates who got the 10's. The worst thing is that you ignored me before I could explain anything.

    Oh and also FYI rocket and I were dueling at the start, we were not farming. I beat him on most of the duels so he went over to his lucy toon who I can't beat. I don't see any problem with that and I am not going to make up BS how I beat everyone in the game.

    I would much rather our team go in for the other hero games but it is hard to get enough people into doing them at the moment. I will keep telling my SG not to gang up on people and I am very sorry for harm caused.

    Also you were dueling rocket ha? Yet you made him 6 kills by yourself ha? THEN plz how dafuq did your teammates get those kills too?
    So afterwards, once Lucy got in and you couldnt get that toon, you asked for your teammates' help..now yeah that sure isn't ganking caused by self inability to defeat a good player...When I got in you had 0 deaths, so yeah couldn't have been your teammates killing you.
    Just don't lie, I have never lied or mistreated Anton from the community, an eye for an eye(ok, it will be more than just an eye) is all you should expect after acting like this...I am not Jesus to stay and face it, so I don't see why your teammates are complaining...
    Oh and SPECTRE has learned? Okay I accept that, but admit you had your fun no? As if you guys didn't act like you ruled the world after winning a SINGLE individual with SEVEN players...
    Someone would help if I asked? Really? Ask in your own sg...you will get some answers i guess.
    At that time it was proved that I could handle them, but maybe after 2 weeks or so they won't be 3 but 7 and then i'd love to see if anyone will be able to handle them. I have seen the previous sg wars from their beggining. This time I will stop it before it's yet begun.

    Guys, you all need to chill out. A few of us are trying to do something positive by making and bringing the community fun videos of CO PVP and some of you are starting pointless arguments about meaningless things and are helping this thread come to an abrupt closure.

    Prankenstein said it best. If you feel like you are outnumbered or feel like you are being intentionally "farmed" either pm one of us that are on or ask coPVP to help out. I am positive more than a few people will help out. Farming someone without purpose or reason will not be tolerated by me or most other people in the community from what I have seen, unless you are one specific individual that I will leave unnamed.

    That being said, we all have those days when you get angry or upset at someone for saying or doing something and if you see them in hero games, you just want to kill them a few times to send a message. That to me, is fine. I do it myself occasionally and have had plenty of people pm me telling me to leave them and so and so alone because of whatever reason they wanna duke it out and i usually just chill and watch. What I am talking about is excessive farming or farming without a reason.

    Personally, if I am in bash and see this type of behavior with no good reason, I will farm all who are involved until they cry. Currently I have no problems with STAR or any SG and I haven't seen much teaming/ganking lately so this comes as a surprise to me. I will keep an eye out though from now on.

    I strongly suggest taking these type of arguments into their own threads so that if they are solved, smackwell can just close them or if they get too out of hand, they can be also closed.

    P.S Sters, both myself and Green have killed Aphrodite in 1vs1. I've witnessed green do it and malware has witnessed me do it. He is not "unkillable". He is just really good and you need to know how to play against him :)

    On a more positive note, I will be uploading a new video probably later tonight or tomorrow so stay tuned for that :wink:

    EDIT: I just read your last post sters and thank you for biting your tongue and ending the argument in consideration of this thread :smile:

    I think its because I record and edit in 1920x1080 HD for best quality. Phone screens don't support that resolution clearly. Probably why. Sorry bro. Be sure to check it out though, its a fun match and you were in it :P

    Btw, you were saying how Aphrodite is unkillable? There is no such thing as "unkillable" :biggrin:

    Mind you, that's the second time out of like 10 times I've been able to beat his quarry 2gm, but still. 2 out of 10 is better than 0 out of 10 :wink:
