Only if it has real mushroom content and not the bits and pieces of Campbell's MMO.

Well, Cream of Mushroom is even lighter on content than CO. And he game play is thin and repetitive. Besides, I don't like the mushroom genre...

Now give me a good content laden Clam Chowder and I become conflicted. Especially if it has add-ons like Oyster Crackers...

I'll tell you, I'm not a huge fan of the whole "Mushroom" genera of soups. Give me the depth and reliability of an old classic like Beef Stew or even an expensive, boutique entry such as Lobster Bisque Online. But plain Mushroom? Neah. Not unless they release significant content upgrades. Now, if you were to, say, add Mario Battalli to the Dev. team, I could see this thing going somewhere.

'Wen considered the nature of time and understood that the universe is, instant by instant, recreated anew. Therefore, he understood, there is in truth no past, only a memory of the past. Blink your eyes, and the world you see next did not exist when you closed them. Therefore, he said, the only appropriate state of the mind is surprise. The only appropriate state of the heart is joy. The sky you see now, you have never seen before. The perfect moment is now. Be glad of it.' Terry Pratchet The Thief Of Time

Imagine the chaos in the MMO industry if Italian Wedding Soup goes F2P.
Choose your enemies carefully, because they will define you / Make them interesting, because in some ways they will mind you
They're not there in the beginning, but when your story ends / Gonna last with you longer than your friends

Not a big fan of mushroom soup. But what if you had an mmo that had mushroom soup, cream of broccoli, chicken noodle and matzoh ball soup as options. That would most certainly be a better mmo.

Mushroom soup sounds like a carebear soup you want something edgier and with complex twists try 4 alarm Texas Chili. If you want something slightly more exotic yet hearty and timely try Irish Lasagne. Made by replacing those silly noodles with large slices of lightly browned potatoes layered with your favorite stew and cheeses.

No, mushroom soup, while not for everyone, has its pros and cons. Personally I'm all about mushroom soup, and would by an LTS if it was available. Goodness knows how much I've spent on it already.

While I agree with you in spirit, you're just going in a whole other direction with this.

I'll be honest tho, if I could switch out mushroom soup for texas chili, I would in an instant.

No, Mushroom Soup is a pretty terrible mmo honestly. When you first get there, you get taken in by the salty goodness, but guess what... that's all you get.. over and over and over, same thing every spoonfull, it never changes, and it gets old quick.

Someone mentioned clam chowder? yeah, they keep you hooked by giving you a chunky bit every now and then, but anyone with common sense knows that's not real content, it's just a marketing ploy to get players to keep dipping their spoon.

You want a real mmo? With real content that gets updated frequently? It's all about Pizza. Sure it's a bit different... it's not in the "bowl" genre, and sometimes you actually have to work your jaw to get through the crust, but hey a good thick crust can be the best part if the rest of the dish is done right... and trust me on this, pizza is done right.

Oh.... and you want content? Lemme show you content...
    IMG_2350.jpg
And yes, everything you see there is fully customizable, so many choices you'll spend months swapping toppings in and out.

Mushroom soup and clam chowder is for babies. If you've got the teeth for it, you'll love pizza. Oh and the pvp in pizza is awesome; you wanna talk about balance? Just look how evenly those slices of peperonni are cut.

They're all soon to be available in the new Hearty Soup Lock Box....

    Pretty low drop rate though...

What put me off Mushroom Soup was how they treated the Add On packs. I paid good money for the Garlic Bread add on pack only for a few months later FtP players soon had access to Garlic Bread for free.

To make matters worse this Alienware freebie came packed with the Corn Dog AT which I had also bought a few days before U__U"

See, I don't even like the dumpling content. It looks forced, in a one-dumpling-fits-all kind of way. You buy a bagel, and hope to get a ****ing rare dumpling, but end up with a bunch of potato chip crumbs. Really, ****ing potato chip crumbs? I don't need potato chip crumbs to flavor my Cream of Mushroom soup, that's just downright ridiculous.

Mushroom soup is soo last century. I'll stick with my Fish Fingers and Custard.

The Forumite formerly known as Galeforce.

If you want my money, there is a fairly simple way to get it since I am fairly free with how I spend it. First, produce something I consider to be worth buying. Second, offer it up for sale. Don't lock it behind a gambling scam. If I want something, I am perfectly happy to pay for it. But I will not purchase a CHANCE to get it, When I pay money, I have a perfectly logical right to expect to get what I want.

Some people think heat should be distributed evenly amongst their soup.

    Stirrers ...

Superhero stories, done well, are about modern archetypes.

Hey, we stirrers might be in the minority, but at least we push the envelope on heat management... unlike you people who just let the problem get completely out of control and then apply a knee-jerk bandaid fix... frikkin' blowers... it's cause of you my soup ends up cold and unevenly heated... how am I supposed to enjoy it when one spoonfull is too cold, and then the next one burns my mouth before I can even do anything about it?

Personally i dislike mushrooms, not my thing. I'm the simple guy that loves chicken noodle, lately i've been wanting clam chowder. Normally i'd say "no, champions is way better than soup", but to be honest if i could by a life time membership to soup, i'd drop this game in a heart beat. At least that way im guarenteed fresh content that's not half finished or half assed.

Soup is also got a great customization system as well, so there's that going for it as well.

I'm totally guilty of that, but in my opinion, the soup could be and should be a lot better than it is by now.

Ok, I didn't want to get involved, but....

I mean, yeah, Italian Wedding has a lot of "content," but really, how much of it is fully realized? How much of it is complete?

I'm sorry, but no, a meatball here, some dried lettuce there, a random carrot on occasion... No, I'm reminded of old school chunky chicken noodle. Yes, it's a classic. Yes what it did, it did well for it's day, and yes on occasion we all still go back, like a nostalgic craving, or maybe we're sick and don't really have anything else to occupy the time so we sit there all day only half enjoying it, but too lazy and tired to find something else.

But does it hold up today? I say no. It's bland, watered down, and unfocused. Everything is soggy and nothing really adds to the overall experience. It's all fluff, and not even complete fluff. You don't even get the whole carrot, just a couple slices, with the promise of more carrot if you just stick it out. But we all know Campbells can only put so much carrot before they start to lose profits. If it wasn't for the nostalgia, and the old school hardcore noodle-heads, chunky chicken noodle would have been put to rest by now.

I don't mean to go on, but really, I think we all just need to accept certain unfocused escapades don't work long term. Not chunky chicken, and certainly not Italian wedding.
