I found an image online the other day and all I could think of was how it reminded me of Champions. So I thought it might be fun to start a thread with that in mind.
Now what you can do is either:

Holy ****! I did too and I didn't even know what that was!! lol
I saw the pic, heard the noise in my head, and then realised what the noise was after you pointed it out
*is knocked out from the intensity of the command/request not to lose hope...then subsquently loses all hope, as well as consciousness for that matter, by virtue of being knocked out*
That link is to a graphic scene. This is my only warning.
However it makes my point of what I think of when I think of Champions Online.
(for those that don't wish to click on the link, it's a scene from "Trainspotting", of the drugged out losers waking up to a woman screaming. Only to find that when they get to her, that she is screaming due to her baby being dead. Why is it dead? Because they had themselves to far stuck into their own worlds, that they neglected it to the point of it's death.)
Also, some bits like Sick Boy yelling "Someone Say SOMETHING!".
Seems appropriate, given the silence and neglect this game has gotten.
Sorry I don't have something more funny or cutesy to post. Nothing funny or cutesy about ignoring a game you expect others to care enough to give you money to support.
Off to go play "something else".

Um.... maybe, depends on the cop really. But they are not superheroes as depicted in comic books. Let's not try and imagine insults where none exist.

Well since your trying to to take my post serious, no I dont see cops as SUPER heroes. Heroes yes in deed, but not SUPER heroes.

In Robocop 3 he got shot into pieces, not bulletproof. Super Capable hero, not a superhero :P or SuperCop.
It was 2 he was taken apart in. In 3 he took a projectile grenade to the chest that didn't explode (because the grenade hadn't traveled far enough to arm) and left a nasty dent that messed up his insides for a while. Although I do think the cyber ninja took off some fingers at one point, he simply shrugged it off and replaced that hand with a gun.
Edit: After re-reading this a few times I realized that either my OCD dial may have been set a bit too high or my recollection of a movie I haven't seen in a dozen years is a bit too vivid. Either way, a bit of an eye opener.

Wait.... So we can take a playboy millionaire jerkwad inventor with a revenge complex, encase him in power armor and he is a superhero. But a seriously injured policeman encased in power armor and returned to fighting crime is NOT a superhero???

It is a fine line, and all based on personal opinion really. Like I think you have to be SUPEr to be a super hero. Robocop is not out there throwing cars around, but technically he could be called a Super hero. I just dont look at him and say Superhero. I probably just dont give him enough credit cause he is sort'a slow and lame, again just an opinion.
Murphy is more of a street-level hero. Other street-levels could include: Punisher, Night Thrasher and Daredevil to a degree.

I think the very least we can all come to agree on is that a basic requirement for a superhero is that they are able to do things above and beyond what most people consider normal human capability.
