I use that at work. Great tool.

Lol, that's where I discovered it too. I use it almost every day when I'm developing training material...

Easy, configurable, and best of all free...

Ah, something that requires running in windowed mode. Guess I don't get to play. For some dumb reason that makes my computer crash almost instantly.

Gadwin Printscreen doesn't require windowed mode. Just give it a hotkey like F10 and tell it to save your pictures to the desktop instead of just copying to the clipboard, and you're set.

Oddly, Printscreen just showed me individual characters, not the honeycomb, so I stuck a few of mine in one picture:
I'm getting a second set of screenshots with the UI in my LIVE folder.
Thats where I pull the honeycomb from, a UI free version with just the
    selected hero saves to /Live/Screenshots/.
Maybe double screenshots is a windowed mode thing.

Just seeing all these creations is fantastic, not a single clone (unless I missed them) and all very creative designs. Just goes to show that Cryptic can do wonderful things when they put their mind to it. :)

Slightly off topic. Are all of those silver borders character slots/archetypes you folks have purchased?

Those would be silver archetypes and/or silver freeforms, yes. Gold characters have the gold border around them.

I made a post some time back showing off my misfit characters.

This was before we could directly link pics into the post. And frankly, I'm to lazy/technically incompetent to redo it.

    So....

Okay, what command do I need to get a pic of the Character Select screen like that? When I take a PrtScrn of it, I just get the toon that's currently up, on a gray background. (Admittedly, that means I can update pics more easily and quickly, so I can post the updated images of Blackwing and Disarm in my thread later...)

Alt+prntscrn then open up some imaging software and choose new. Hit ctrl-v and you should be good to go.

    twg042370 adds a step:

Alt+prntscrn then open up some imaging software and choose new. Hit ctrl-v and you should be good to go.

The first ALT is unnecessary. Just prntscrn, then paste into an editor works fine.

Hate to sound incompetent, but how do I set this hotkey? I'm guessing that's not an in-game hotkey tough the keybinds interface?

    I'm on Windows 7.

    I feel safe to come out from hiding now that I gave away my stuffs;

    five_zpsd8455ffc.jpg

Sorry for the lack of an army. Clockwise starting from the lady...

    1. Angry Bear. Savage. Acrobatics. (Requisite "hot babe" hero)

    2. Joe Kei. Blade. Teleport. (In retrospect I should have named him "Oh Kei". Yes,he's an homage to the Crazy 88s.)

    3. Basajuan. Marksman. Blazing Speed. (I wanted a demon. Everyone else got a demon, why can't I? He's not a fallen ruler of hell though. Run of the mill demon.)

    4. Incendio. Inferno. Jet Boots. (I like robots. The game needs more robot costumes.)

    5. Hunter Coleman. Soldier. Swinging. (The typical normal guy-with-guns. I'd have him stick to walking but that's a real drag.)

In my imagination they're all a team. They're also the millionth characters I've made since I've started playing.
