You can give the item to a friend you trust that is gold and have them do the trade then they can trade the globals to you. It's safer for the person paying.

It's BoP and I, personally, know of nobody who has gotten one to drop since On Alert hit so they may or may not even be available anymore...like alot of things.
Also, it's not a drop from Mega-D. It is/was/? the super rare 1st place reward for the "Destroids Rise Again" Open Mission.

How is my post confusing. I offered 4k as a starting bid just to test the waters and since you didn't mention an asking price. I made an r3, and 2 r1s all within the last two weeks before alert hit, something I had put off because a particular dev said they'd be available in a vendor.
I myself would never sell them if I had them, but in choosing to sell, one needs to be practical. There are a few folks who were made extremely rich from a bug that was fixed long before I ever started. If those are the people you're trying to appeal to, it would have been nice to know.
Just because someone asks for 4k for a backup, don't assume they'll sell. As much as I'd like to complete my collection, I won't pay 4k for something that's been hit that hard by the nerfbat, and most people won't either, otherwise they wouldn't sit in the AH long. The other thing to consider with those backups, no one knows if they'll ever drop again, so they do hit a rarity factor.
But as I said, if you were lookin for around 10k, I could have probably done that. Being that you didn't respond, you sound like you're looking for upwards of 20k. Those devices may not exist anymore, but if you're looking to get maximum value, it would have been courteous to give people an idea of what you were looking for. If I had known 10k wasn't even in the ballpark, I'd simply just keep buying mods and costume unlocks as usual.
I mean, I could outfit 1 or 2 in r9s if I really put the effort in, but across 16 40s it's not practical. Getting a spare r3 ctp would be great, but there's only so much I'm willing to invest for the sake of having an extra travel option. I'm sure plenty of folks are thinking along those lines. Colossi farming has been gone for months, mods still cost plenty at r5, let alone if you're shooting for 7s or higher. Most of my friends have moved onto other games already.
I wasn't expecting a 4k sale, but if 4k globals wasn't a serious offer to even get the courtesy of a response to say it was too low, look in the ah and tell me how many items you can find with a 4k asking price, or better yet, name things off the top of your head that can actually sell for 4k that isn't a backup. The only thing that comes to my mind are unbound ctps.
Give me few week or month. You will get enough G. xD
This time, timing was very bad after stupid Backups carnival. Many ppl spend crazy amount of G for them include me. xD
[Deadly] [Lightning Rod] [King Of the Zombies] [Stay Out of the Lava] [Swashbuckler] PvP perk, Lost Legacy, Foxbat scrappy Costumes and Black Taron Backpack are the last things for me to get.
(I was crazy in PvP while you where spending time for Travel Device.)
I can't even count how much time and resource I spend for them. xD
