I could care less about most of the stuff but the heirloom gear looked handy for an altaholic like me. Oh well...

It's the same gear you can currently get from the nemesis vendor for nemesis tokens, only with a different name.

Is still still active guys? I was on a holliday for 2 weeks and I come back and see this message. I'm patching the game while we speak but I do hope the event for this is not over yet because that would be such a slap in the face :P

Please reconsider doing it this way in the future. Or at least if you do be sure to add a big annoying pop-up like you did with the alerts since some of us don't check the forums very often and there is little reason to check in-game mail and dig through all of that socrates spam for the exceptionally rare important mail.

Unfortunately, I apparently deleted the character that received the mail, most likely because it went to some random low-level alt that I was testing an idea with and decided against keeping before ever leaving the powerhouse.

This happened to me too... My only clue that something was up was when I logged in one of my characters and noticed a bunch of titles I didn't know how I got, which prompted me to research. This was already after I'd made and deleted a character that day.
In-game support seems fixated on the idea of restoring the deleted character and they want the name, level and date it was deleted. I'm old, I have two full pages of characters and I've deleted countless others (that's what happens when you give me a costume editor that makes it fun to come up with tons of new characters only to realize once you're in the game that you don't like them after all) so asking me to remember that is like asking a politician to tell the truth.

I could care less about most of the stuff but the heirloom gear looked handy for an altaholic like me. Oh well...

I was luckier; when the rep got to my request, they just granted me the stuff. Of course, I'd already lost the opportunity to choose which character it went on; it just went on the character I'd made the petition on. Oh well. At least I got the heirloom gear, right?

You know that it's account bound, and thus can be switched to your other toons via transfer in the hideout bank, right?

Although, at least now the other guy has some info to tell the GM next time he speaks to them referencing this thread and your post of how yours got sorted.

Sometimes ytou see staff resolve an issue in a different method to another because sometimes they may not be aware of another way untill it gets pointed out. Unless of course the same GM resolves the same issue in different ways out of order then it's just a problem.

You are indeed lucky. I put in a ticket about issues with my vet awards and was told that I didn't meet any of the requirements to get them despite having been here for over three years.

The heirloom gear is account bound, and I did transfer it to the character I wanted it on as I was making that post. Things like the drifter salvage are not transferable, though, nor are the action figures (not that those are important to me).

The AFs are available account wide once you "use" them...

So the only thing that was handed out that was character bound was the Drifter Salvage from the bag...

    I wish :)

I've now spoke with three (I think) different GMs with the same story each time, the can only restore the character and only if I know the name and level.

I learned a thing. Okay, I didn't know that. Makes it silly that they're character-bound objects in the first place.

Oh okay, sorry, just the guy you replied to was mentioning only the gear so i thought you meant that exclusively too. AF's should be account wide too though, but yeah salvage not so :(

Never got a gm response on my account being glitched :(.

No heirlooms for me, I guess. Bummer.
In game, I am @EvilTaco. Happily killing purple gang members since May 2008.

    I got the titles, and the mail, but couldn't get the items from the mail due to not being at a until console. So I went to an until console and the mail wasn't there. I didn't delete it, it just vanished. ;_;
